Actually there are plenty of places where it would be totally legal to exclusively make an opposite-sex wedding cake - the laws relating to this in question only apply to very specific circumstances.

It's worth remembering that the legalization of same-sex marriage was not based on "sexual orientation" - it was based on alleged discrimination toward the sex of the couple.

So technically, two "straight" men or women have just as much a legal right to marry as two "homosexual" ones do - there isn't any legal litmus test for proving your "orientation".

 

In the US - it might be helpful to brush up on the laws in question, how they work, and where they're applicable.

No it isn't - I already pointed out that the legal ruling for same-sex marriage was for discrimination based on the sex of the couples.

I never cared what gay people do with their lives. I was under the impression that the idea of marriage was a religious practice and that gay people is against the religion and that's what all the stink was about.
