Why would anyone care about one church member?

    It's pretty lame.

That one church member could spread the word in the community about the baker doing the same same wedding cake.

It's not mental gymnastics to say that Jack believes that marriage is between a man and a woman! :roflol:

Why would they care unless of course they're bigots?

Correct that isn't mental gymnastics it's just discrimination against gay people for the reason that they are gay.

I can go around in the circle again it'll be funny. Maybe you'll catch on this time. I'll use the same keywords to help clue you in.

No, simply having the belief that marriage is between a man and a woman is NOT in fact discrimination.

Being bigots doesn't mean you're necessarily homophobic.

Of course not I don't care what anyone believes refusing to serve them because they are gay is discrimination. I'm not saying that should be illegal it's just I'm calling a spade a spade.

Except that Jack did NOT refuse to serve them! He offered them everything that existed in the shop! If he discriminates on the basis of sexual orientation, then why the hell didn't he simply tell them to immediately leave his store?

Okay, so they're a bigot. That one bigoted church member could spread the word in the community about the baker doing the same sex wedding cake.

What difference would it make to the community unless they're bigots?

There could be enough bigots to mount an effective boycott against the baker. More generally, the baker could be slandered as a 'fake Christian.'

If that was his reason, then he would do a wedding cake for two straight men, or two straight women.

Here we are with the mental gymnastics again.

Because there's all these straight same-sex couples getting married because that makes sense in your mind apparently.

Exactly. So you can see why the baker would be worried about this possibility and why this might be a reason why they refuse to create the cake.

Straight same sex marriage couples don't NEED to be getting married in order for my point to be valid. You know perfectly well that if two straight men or two straight women walked into Jack's bakery and asked for a wedding cake, that he would refuse! You're too smart to NOT know that!

You just need to perform mental gymnastics to have a point.
    Lol gymnastics.

Lol you know that I'm right. You've clearly got no further counter argument - just repeating "mental gymnastics" over and over again.

    How?

Money is given an intrinsic value, and there is a finite amount of it. This is not true with marriage. Your analogy is pretty bad.
