    In the end, it becomes all about the grift for these Trump wannabees. Can't say I blame them, they are simply following his grift by feeding the base what they need to hear.

    Expect this from now on. Dirty donny has damaged the fabric of America so much that R voters will now claim and even believe there is fraud in any election they lose.

    His legacy of damage to America will last years if not decades.

    I think it is premature to talk about his legacy. He may not be done with us yet. All it will take is a recession under Dem leadership, and Trump party gerrymandering and voter suppression to get four more years foisted on us. Remember, it all hinges on a few 10,000 votes in a bunch of close states.

    Trump has set a precedent that will likely be copied by many populists in the future.

    When they lose, they blame the system.

    Their ideas are never at issue.

    A state that would elect and re-elect liberal wretches like Pelosi, Feinstein, Kamala, and Schiff would never get rid of an equally rotten, America-hating slime bag like Newsom.

    Californians learned long ago that the best way to keep on getting 'welfare-for-life' is to make sure you always elect DEMOCRATS. No other qualifications are needed.

    Republicans and any others never really had a chance....

    As an unaffiliated voter, NOBODY represents me, and I'm under no illusion that a Republican is very much better.

    That said, NOTHING is worse than a deceitful, 'woke', welfare-shoveling Democrat who hates everything that ever really was "great" in this country -- and that describes a crudball like Newsom perfectly... so, naturally, Kalifornians will be certain to keep him!

    In less than ten years Russia and China will be running the whole damned world, and we'll still be contaminated with creatures like Newsom, Harris, Schiff, and all the rest of them. So enjoy our race to the bottom -- it is sure to be thrilling.... :hippie:

    I read the fake news article and there are no direct quotes of Elder's concession speech because Elder hasn't delivered a concession speech.

    Sure we were.... it happened last time, as you might recall...

    A mildly funny story about Larry Elder, from this AM... I had the TV on MSNBC while I was upstairs getting dressed. I came back down to my wife, a mostly apolitical soul, standing in front of the set with her mouth open. She turned to me and asked "Who is this clown"??

    She was watching the MSNBC interview with Elder from yesterday, unable to answer if he would accept the results of the election.. She really had no idea, us not living in California...

    I could only shrug and answer he was reportedly the leading candidate to replace Newsom in California... she just laughed and left to go to the store.

    I guess you had to be here....

    Her reaction probably mirrors the large segment of the country not living in their own hindquarters...

    this may be another 'rumor become news' items. None of the big outlets have touched it yet. So far it appears to be a clickbait story. I expect we'll have either a 'debunk' or a 'confirmation' by later today.

    Given the testimony from numerous Republican voters during these last few days, testimony that they had been told they already voted when they had not voted, it's no wonder.
