I don't think it mentions "Taliban intervention" one way or the other...it's primarily, "the Taliban and Afghan government are to work things out." And, "we'll leave if you don't shoot at us and don't allow other terrorist groups to use Afghan soil to attack us." It was a bad agreement, as determined by the bi-partisan Afghanistan Study Group, authorized by Congress. Milley followed the orders of the new President Biden.

    You're probably right.

Just try to imagine not having a very belligerent North Korea OR powerful China around, threatening us and our allies with thermonuclear hydrogen weapons! I just can't think how we would want to do without this exciting addition to our well-being.... :lonely:

MacArthur isn't the central point. If you want to tell me what else you think he did, I'll comment.

My opinion of Trump's sanity matters little.

    Milley's, Pompeo's, and Pelosi's do, however.

So if you're able, you should ask yourself why so many senior government officials thought Trump was crazy.

You are very funny! Way to go off the deep end and incorrectly conclude what you think of Conservatives. Good luck with that.

Biden refuses to even consider it.Like the way his Lying cheats in his
White House can cut-off any statement he makes in mid sentence. Then just
spiel that it never happened.Because virtually everything Unamerican and dastardly
is now either No biggie,Ignored or never happened.

To do what? To launch a strike at the enemy country (not the subs) while our Command and Control still functions. We should have a capability to ID the subs rather quickly after they surface. If we do not our military budget has been misspent. We we would not have time for is a circle jerk with Millie -- or others not in the chain of command for a nuke launch.

Classic paranoid schizophrenia. Persecution complex, complicated by a split personality. Insanity hiding in plain sight.

You are probably the 4th person on here who claims Milley isn't in the chain of command for a nuclear launch without so much as a cite...

I see a pattern, although it's not much different from what I've seen on here these past 4 years...

The fact that Trump does not have this mental condition is IMHO demonstrated by the way shrill criticism is to him like water rolling off the back of a duck.

But if he did have this condition, how would it likely cause a nuclear war? It is people with paranoia who are likely to initiate attacks.

    Are you joking?
He is incapable of ignoring criticism and fires or berates anyone who dares to criticize him.

Nor did I state that MacArthur was the central point. I stated that I questioned Vindman's assertion that Milley was setting a dangerous precedent here.

Let's start with Mad Dog Mattis.A career Military man.He was used to
war as a way of garnering money.Because it was formulaic.
War is good for an economy. Therefore it has to be funded.More and more.
So money eventually gets spread around. In fact, most generals don't
give a hoot as to costs.Just pony-up and supply Defense.
Trump was big on costs. After all he graduated Wharton.A foremost
Business college.Trump knew and focused on costs. That is where he
lost Mattis.Mattis required a Military Industrial Complex.Trump did not.
Yet Trump did go head over heels in making sure our Military was funded
properly with new and better equipment.Trump did not believe in warring
as a way of Life for our Military. That very thought infuriated many Top Brass.

Ah...I agree. Also...MacArthur was a field commander...not the Chief of the JCS.

Is this one of those spoof post? The man whines non-stop about how he is treated. In my entire adult life I have never known or seen anyone that whines about how unfairly they are treated more than Trump does.

He is the man that spent close to a decade attempting to sue an author he hired because the guy said Trump's net worth was lower than Trump thought it should be.

He is a text book narcissist

You're introducing political theory into a basic organizational problem. The formation of the military-industrial complex was the outcome of WW II (also it was generally traced to WW I) and a bi-partisan foreign policy of "containment." Trump? A "Know Nothing," in way, way over his head and most likely insane. At best he was/is a hustler, not a successful business man.

She is NOT in the chain of command of the military. She is NOT in the chain of command of a nuclear strike. NEITHER IS MILLEY. What are you missing here? And his calls go back to before the election.
