I would have filed a police report the day of the crime. I would have hired an attorney. The school and the school system are negligent in protecting their students from a known sexual predator. His gender and sexual persuasion has nothing to do with him being a criminal.

I also would have shown up at the school board meeting and I too would have been thrown out. Put yourself in this father’s shoes, and his daughter’s shoes.

 

Actually amongst other things they offered more school police officers and training certain teachers to be able to arm themselves in such a situation, the faster you can put the shooter down the fewer they can shoot.

If someone is occasionally wearing a dress that doesn’t make them trans. There is a specific medical diagnosis for being trans. There definitely needs to be a system in place — do it like several states have already done to change gender on drivers licenses.

I honestly can't imagine sending my kids to a public school these days. I guess thats the silver lining to being single... Every sign points to this sort of thing being 'the new normal' in the name of tolerance, if not outright intended to happen. Should I manage to ever find that special women to bear me children, I'll be forking out the cash to send them to private school or, preferably, a 'home school co-op.'

I use the DSM for my posts on medical topics. Gender identity (transgenderism) is different from gender expression.

Can you point to where in your source it shows that wearing feminine clothing “sometimes” makes one trans? I cannot find it.

The dsm does not detail criteria for the ability to claim trans. It only addresses the group of people who identify as trans and also experience dysphoria. I quote:

Some people who are transgender will experience “gender dysphoria,” which refers to psychological distress that results from an incongruence between one’s sex assigned at birth and one’s gender identity. Though gender dysphoria often begins in childhood, some people may not experience it until after puberty or much later.

People who are transgender may pursue multiple domains of gender affirmation, including social affirmation (e.g., changing one’s name and pronouns), legal affirmation (e.g., changing gender markers on one’s government-issued documents), medical affirmation (e.g., pubertal suppression or gender-affirming hormones), and/or surgical affirmation (e.g., vaginoplasty, facial feminization surgery, breast augmentation, masculine chest reconstruction, etc.). Of note, not all people who are transgender will desire all domains of gender affirmation, as these are highly personal and individual decisions.

Looks to me like the dsm says the individual gets to decide if they are trans. Why do you think you get to decide?
