The behavior of democrats here baffles me. it's like they suddenly forgot that we must believe all women, (i assume this includes girls who have medically been evaluated and determined to have been physically assaulted.) The issue seems to be that democrats are entirely willing to ignore the violence within their own ranks. We've seen this before. Powerful democrats predate extensively only to have that violent predation ignored by the party. Harvey Weinstein and others have successfully made careers devoid of ever facing the consequences of their violent criminal behavior. And suddenly, a new category of behavior protection must now be extended to rape culture in schools? That seems both inconsistent with the message of the party, but entirely consistent with the behavior of those within the party.
