Are you under the impression that the GOP don't have anything to do when in a minority? What is the point of having a representative for you if he just throws his hands up when in a minority? If they spent more time on action rather than whining, we might be in a better place. How about constructive suggestions for solutions? Instead, they spend their time lobbing accusations and standing in the way of any progress. Right now, their main talking point is the covid rate under Biden - yet they are opposing all his suggested actions for a solution. Obstruction is not a way that helps constituents.

    Sorry , I don't read con-speak.
Do that translate to "vote for the people who actually give a krap about them and will address their interests despite the Republicans
blocking their efforts at every turn over partisanship?

    Yes, that's the strategy.

The use of the word 'obstruction' is somewhat humorous. What it really means is people don't agree with what another group wants. Progress is in the eyes of the beholder.... personally, I don't view hyperinflation as progress. The government should not be manipulating markets and business, yet here we are.

As would following the thread. I'm asking what solutions are being offered...so far, nothing. I'm sure GOP constituents are thrilled with their votes.

You're talking nonsense. I have worked in the Energy Industry for well over a decade.
    • Democrats are the ones stopping new nuclear builds and shutting down nuclear plants. (STP 3&4, Pilgrim, San Onofre, Diablo Canyon, etc.)
    • Democrats are the ones shutting down Coal Plants that sit idle until energy emergencies. They are gone now. (Barack Obama did this)
    • Democrats are the ones shutting down energy pipelines. (Hello Biden)

The speculators are just following the actions of those in power and the prices are going way up accordingly. We absolutely will have a supply shortage if a cold freeze lasts more than a week in the Mid-West or East Coast. Thousands will freeze to death and we can 100% blame Democrats for reducing the amount of energy available.

You have zero facts, just partisan nonsense.

So now that you know that Keystone was to transport tar sands for export, why keep braying about it in a conversation about fuel supplies ?
Or will you all stop now ? (let me note the date and time)

Simple and they have stated it for years.

    • Embrace Nuclear Power
    • Increase Natural Gas Energy
    • Keep the idle Coal Plants online until their power has been accounted for with new energy solutions

You just don't know anything about Energy Policy. I've lived it for over a decade. I know the top deputies in the U.S. D.O.E. I work on their major projects... well I will until January 4 and if the vaccine mandate is not removed, I will have to step down.

Which pipelines, exactly ? (BTW, pipelines carry liquids or gasses, not "energy". Or did they not teach you that at the "Energy Industry" )
And what do(did) they carry ? And who shut them down and when ?

I have no idea what the GOP solution is, ask a Republican.

My opinion is the government should quit restraining the environment that permits additional drilling and other alternative sources of energy developed in the regions that need them.

Sure and I also took the other 7 seconds and read the rest of the link :) But to be honest I have read much more on the subject and why the power/energy producers are having to charge more..

You really should look for information, DUDE, I know it's so much easier to just be instructed and told how and what to believe but they is FAR MORE honest information out there, if you can handle it, be warned!!!!!

    :roflol:

    "Thousands will freeze to death"?

    Really? "Thousands"?

You are predicting a HUGE Spike?

Each year in the United States, about 1,330 people die of cold exposure, essentially freezing to death

I see you ignored the rest of the points that matter even more.... because you can't even touch them.

I don't think you are a credible or serious poster, but here is your LINK.

Get educated and knock off the partisan rants with no substance behind them. It's old.

The uneducated are those that claim Keystone XL has any effect at all on the supply or price of fuel.
Given your recent history of posting, your opinion of my credibility or seriousness is ignored.
