The German newspaper Bild, citing sources, published a scheme of a possible "attack" on Ukraine, allegedly prepared by Russia.
According to the newspaper's sources in NATO and Ukrainian military intelligence, the offensive will take place in late January - early February 2022.
As Bild notes, two scenarios are considered: a simultaneous attack from multiple fronts or an attack in multiple phases.
In the first scenario, we are talking about a simultaneous attack from the northern Crimea and through the territories of the DPR and LPR.
The second scenario, according to the newspaper, involves three phases: an attack on the south of Ukraine, on the north-east of Ukraine and an offensive on Kiev from the north.
As the newspaper writes, as a result, Russia "expects to occupy about two-thirds of the Ukrainian territory."

But the funny thing is - As noted by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on the article of the German newspaper Bild "Putin's invasion plan in Ukraine" - that when drawing up the "attack scheme" the authors used the 1942 toponym.
Germans have a strong genetic memory. Is not it?

By the way, the border of the remnants of Ukraine should be minimized, at least the remainder should not have a common border with today's Belarus.
Otherwise a good, livable plan.

We sent troops INTO combat in Afghanistan. The war was already up and running. Having our troops go into a peaceful area and get attacked... is a whole different story.

 

I used to respect Bild and read it regularly, but they're nothing but a propaganda tool now.

What is ironic about the fact that Russia has already sent its soldiers to wage a war in Ukraine before and a certain (state secret) number of them have returned home as cargo-200 and cargo-400?

 

There will be no war if the morons in Kiev, DC, and NATO abide by the treaties they have signed. If they decide to try to ethnically cleanse the Donbass, Russia will take back all the lands of the Russian Empire held in 1914 in now what is called 'Ukraine'. I would argue that gangsta culture is less acceptable among Russians than among Americans and some other western countries. But at the very top of the government, yes Mafialand it is. Absolutely stratospheric level of corruption.

Ukrainians have never known how to fight. The only thing that Ukrainians can do is kill women and children. Who killed hundreds of thousands of people in Babi Yar? Ukrainians. Who burned civilians (children, women and the elderly) in the Belarusian village of Khatyn? Ukrainians. Of these, only concentration camp punishers can be obtained.
Ask the Poles about the Volyn massacre, and they will tell you who the Ukrainians are.
But Ukrainians flee like rats from an enemy who can respond.
For example. Almost all of the Ukrainian division "Galichina" was destroyed in the very first battle. The Russians destroyed the entire Ukrainian rabble with a smaller amount. The rest scattered like rats.
At the same time, the Russians advanced, and the Ukrainians sat in fortified trenches. And they were able to hold out for only half an hour.
In fact, this Ukrainian rabble fled after the first shot.
But you are talking about some kind of Ukrainian resistance. The very phrase "Ukrainian" and "warrior" is ridiculous. That's funny.

 

Go back to your posting of roughly Dec 3 ....and you'll see your posting of 1914 "Russian lands"that incorporate Warsaw,Lublin(pretty much all Poland), Baltics,all of Finland...and even into Norway.

You like to see invasion and war....sure. You think 175k troops will cut it?....Hardly....Ukraine has 45+ mln...an area bigger than France....Russkis would need to commit 6-700k....with a strong possibility of a massive guerilla movement that will result in 2-5k deaths per day for the Russkis....unless Botox midget is counting on massive bribes and high level defections of military top brass like in Crimea.....which is highly doubtful. Which will result in even a greater Nato presence....sanctions from hell...and if it should "go sough" in any way....Vladolf will meet his "Ceaucescu moment".
