Too many spineless cowards and liars who won't come out to tell the truth. Was it made to be a weapon or simply to make pharmaceuticals richer and richer and richer?

The only answer he and many have is TDS.

They dont care about the corruption, the lives lost, or anything like that.

    Its all about politics.

That post cuts to the bone. I lost a friend in Aerospace (Commercial Designs) who lost his job and spiraled out until he is no longer with us leaving his wife and two kids behind. The man was awesome and stable for well over a decade, but when he lost his well paying job and hope, as no one was hiring.

The damage being done to children and young adults as well is massive.

    That is just sad.

Crap like this went on during the Trump Admin and it is going on under the Biden Admin. I want to see the mental gymnastic exercises these folks do to rely on “fine under Biden, but very, very bad under Trump”, all the while they ignore the reality.

I am sorry for your loss. Heartbreaking. And it is a massive problem and very sad. We could not say goodbye to my father in law in the hospital, due to the Covid restrictions. It was not right for him to be alone, without any loved one there, when he expired.

Sadly, that is what today's Left has devolved to. We had some Left posters here straight up admit that they would do anything to get Trump out and no cost was too high. The thing is that they would have done the same if it was Paul, Cruz, or even Romney. Whatever Republican candidate or President is up front gets that same treatment from the MSM and Big Tech.... and they buy it every time. Now that Bush is of no threat, the establishment has embraced him (mostly). But, back in the day... he was Hitler (like my side pic - along with the mandates is it starting to make more sense?). Trump may be an *****, but he did some good things and to not recognize any of that is a weird mental issue.

Fauci and team are corrupt to the bone. They can't see it, because they make their politics a religion and Fauci is one of their Gods.

Brutal. We couldn't even have a real ceremony for my friend. The draconian measures team Fauci pushed were cruel and had no impact.

It was just as important for the loved ones left behind as it was for the loved one expiring. I think it was a cruel and heartless policy. But given what we know about Fauci and certain folks at the NIH, hardly surprising.

    I partially agree.

Fauci should retire, not because of his age, but because he's a liar and corrupt.

Are you psychic? I agree with all of that except the question. Age has nothing to do with empathy.

It's just crazy bizarre that people, in general (not anybody here), can shrug off millions of death around the world. How is that even possible?

Two of that number were my family members. My cousin died on the way to the hospital so he was around loved ones. His mom passed two weeks later...alone. She was one of the strongest people I have ever known. She lost her husband (29 years old) with four young kids. Two of her daughters died (29 of Lupus, 34 of breast cancer). She ended up raising her first daughter's two children because her husband was a <censoring myself>. Then, they grew up and she lost her granddaughter (21 years old) in a bizarre accident and, then, her son (44) to COVID.

Unlike my parents, she was very loving and was there for all her children and grandchildren. It breaks my heart that she had to die alone in a hospital due to COVID restrictions.

My ex has our two children. My daughter is very social and really struggled with the lockdowns. She did not get to the point of contemplating suicide but her grades weren't as high as they were pre-lockdown. My son is more like me and doesn't mind being alone. Actually, we both *prefer* it. However, they are back in the classroom now and both are doing well except my son has been diagnosed with OCD and voted "best hand washer" his class. His sister told me last week that he now refuses to have anybody else's laundry in the washer with his.

I have three neighbors that were NOT well with the isolation. Two just refused to wear masks, socially or limit the number of people they hung around with. They even refused to quarantine when they tested positive. The Health Department put a notice on their door so others would know but they didn't care. Another one is in her 80s and she probably would have committed suicide if we weren't checking on her. She just can't cope. She wants to socialize with her neighbors over coffee, go on outings and do things she always did and isn't adaptable in the least bit.

I have some friends in Italy facing the same stuff we are. In fact, everyone I know from around the world is facing the same thing and, for some, it's even worse because their government is either not able to afford enough vaccines, won't get the vaccines and/or people are dying so quickly, grave diggers can barely keep up. They are also limiting funeral services attendees so many can't even gather to mourn their losses.

Again, I agree with you. The "body count" is just one casualty in this nightmare and I would even say this might be a perfect time to say "the cure is worse than the disease" for countless people.

I am sorry for your losses. It is heartbreaking and tragic and it just rubs salt in the wound having loved ones die alone in a hospital. I am sorry one of your kids struggled with the isolation. Glad to see she has come through that. Very unsettling to say the least for a parent dealing with all of that.

I see your point with regard to my question. I believe life experiences can help those folks who have little empathy to begin with, to develop empathy and awareness of others. But you are so correct, no one is too young nor too old to harbor empathy.

Lol..."spilt milk". Meanwhile these same posters are still having nightmares over something that happened over a year ago of which only one person died who was one of the "bad guys"...

    5.5 million deaths...spilt milk....lol.

If you are going to blame covid on that 5.5 million deaths, then it's not spilt milk.

    Progressives...who can take them seriously?

~ Everything about this crisis is being done A:b0x0rz:SS backwards. The most suspicious and disturbing thing is that when China refused to let inspection of Wuhan laboratory there was no push back from any government. :blankstare:

No. Have you read my posts in this thread? Why are you so laser focused on Trump? This death and destruction has happened under both Administrations. You want to focus on Trump?

Care to address Fauci? Care to address the link from post 39?

It's not a fact that is obscure to virtually anyone. If you have an actual point? Who was Trump supposed to listen to? Atlas? That would have been a better call for the nation.

And Trump should have fired him before his term ended.
