    LOL

Rules don't apply to the Left. They dictate from the position of superiority. They establish rules and mandates for everybody else, not themselves. Don't be silly.

Biden won't hold himself accountable, and nor will all of the lemmings that follow along in support of the non-sense.

For starters keep 2,000,000 infected, unvavxxed and symptomatic illegals out of our country. Biden said he had a plan, it failed and then he punted. Biden, Psaki, and liberals in general all thought they knew better than DeSantis, but when it comestibles what they should do then it’s shrugs.

Did Obama act in a way that would have gotten one of his staff fired after he made a promise to do so?

    Yes, of course.

But then Harris would be in charge.

Well, Harris could fire herself too!

But then Nancy would be in charge.

    *sigh*

    God help us ...

If the man is as good as his word- absolutely.
In addition, he promised to restore integrity to government and pursue corruption- so he should order the FBI to arrest him for the thousands of violations of federal immigration laws he is responsible for.

But.... they see no necessity to keep their word, honor their promises- or do diddly for the American people. that IS NOT what they are there for- and that was just the false advertising they used to suck in the gullible.

He called him up and apologized.

Did Trump ever do that to the people he accused of being liars?

    No.

so why should you even care?

No, he shouldn't be fired just like I didn't think Trump, Obama or anybody else saying something stupid on camera should be fired. People slip up and say stuff they probably shouldn't say aloud. Who hasn't done that? There would be no employed people if we fired every person that was disrespectful to somebody else.

Why is this a big deal?

The difference between liberals / moderates vs conservatives is that we don’t really care what the far left do — we realize they are a outlier. Republicans see what the far right does and immediately emulates it.

Parallels between current and prior administrations are always relevant. Strange how the right simultaneously worships him and then demands no one speak of him. Fascinating

Do you have a source that 2M illegals were infected by COVID.

By that logic COVID outbreaks would primarily be along the border. I will be the first to admit we need to get our boarder under control but that argument doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.

But hypocrisy is relevant, and we establish that by pointing out how you don't give a damn if Trump is rude and doesn't apologize, only if Biden does it.

Where did you get the idea that I don't give a damn if Trump is rude? Something else you made up?
It was wrong for Trump and it is wrong for Biden. Especially since Biden was elected on "not being Trump".

Okay, fine, but why would you ask a question about the President stepping down ( or being impeached ) both, monumental historical acts, for only an off-the-cuff insult, particularly one where he called the reporter and apologized?

Why would you even ask such an unwarranted question?

If every president, or CEO, had to be fired for off the cuff remarks, there would be no presidents or CEOs, anywhere.

    do you not see this?

Because he said ""I will fire you on the spot for disrespect to others."

Apologies are great, but not saying something to start with is much better. The hot mike statement revealed his true feelings.

    A few questions for you.

If someone else in his administration said something like that, would he have "fired him on the spot"? Was that a lie? If it was not a lie, isn't he being a hypocrite?

Additionally, he said he would fire him on the spot. That does not leave time for a later apology. According to his own words, the apology changes nothing.

Wonderful, my sentiments exactly. Trump's sentiments are far worse.

You could fire someone on staff for such a DIRECT remark on the public stage, but to impeach a president?

Can you not see the difference?
