Putin is the reason. He sits there with chocolate all over his hands and face and accuses the US of stealing the cake. Get outa here, bring it or shut up. Probably better for Putin to just shut up and take what's left of his Army and go home.

 

The US and NATO is the reason. The Cold War ended in 1989 for the old Soviet Union but the US continued because it needed Russia to continue to be the big bad evil empire so the MIC can be fed massive amounts of people's money. Now we have Europe feeding the beast.

 

Helping arm them is just fine. Let Putin take his black eyes and waddle home.

 

This just provides Joe the "plausible deniability" card to play with regards to his 10% cut from Hunter. Putin knows that Joe isn't completely responsible for weapons/aide being given to Ukraine. Congress holds the purse strings.

 

Who or what started this mess - is a related but separate subject. Sending heavier weapons has consequences ..and at some point is an act of war (that point far past) -- and has a host of problems - one of which is that at some point these actions necessitate a response - somewhat like how NATO destabilizing nuclear detente - by puting ABMs on Russia's border - necessitated a response.

Israel has been aggressing on the Palestinians again ... invading, stealing/occupying land -- when we gonna be sending Palestinians the heavy stuff ? or Syria who Israel has also been attacking and stealing land ..

Watched an interesting snippet on RT the other day ... Remembering when NATO bombed the State Television network in Belgrade Serbia - killing 16 civilians.. massive violation of international law - widely condemned at the time .. and of course ending with the Annexation of territory from a sovereign nation .. setting precedent vunderbar .. something the Prophet warned about many times ..and now folks cry and whimper when I say "I told you so"

 

Invading a neighboring country is an act of war. Heavy weapons were/are involved in that invasion.

Neither Europe or Israel's problems have any effect on US national security. What's happening now in Europe is Europe's problem to solve not the US'. The US' involvement in Europe is only escalating things. It will always be more troops and more weapons until someone is forced to use nuclear weapons. This administration has made it clear Ukraine will still be standing when Putin is long gone. If Putin has any say about that and he does given the fact he has nuclear weapons that statement by Blinken can't hold. It's a threat the US can't keep.

 

I don't think we are going nuclear . but definitely this is an EU problem - the US chiming in - with dumb rhetoric but lots of money.

This escalation of weapons is bad precedent .. as was annexing Kosovo .. and same thing I said then .. and no it wasn't just a "NATO Serbia" problem .. and thankfully Russia deigned not to intervene in that one .. as we are intervening now.. Breaking the International rules is an international problem .. Decades of "Do as we say Not as we Do" foreign policy .. is a problem .. specially when we continue .. as if we can get away with it .. that others will not "Do as we do"

This is another step .. ripping another section of the rule book .. as was using the economic nuclear option.. things that matter going forward .. not limited to this conflict ..

 

Well, if this report is accurate, and I have no reason to think it isn't, this is probably the largest proof yet that Putin's War is backfiring.... He may destroy some of Ukraine in the end, but he'll be no better off from a Russian security standpoint.... and certainly worse off from a pariah standpoint.

Instead of 1 country possibly considering joining NATO someday in the future, there could be 2 joining by the end of the year.
