"But the expansion of military infrastructure into this territory (Finland and Sweden) will certainly cause our response. What it will be, we will look at the threats that will be created for us, " said Putin at the summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

It looks like he is moving the goal posts a little now that he has lost this round. He failed to bully them out of joining NATO, so now he wants to make it about NATO infrastructure and troops on their territory. It's an interesting shift. I'm sure he hopes it will sound more reasonable than his previous rants about NATO.

I'm not sure that's possible this time, Dur. He might actually top out Orange Jesus in the annals of history as one of the worst world leaders.

While I never liked Donald Trump what did he do to warrant that kind of label?

Trump, while terrible, failed to edge out "W" for last place as Presidents go. Putin, while detestable, is a piker compared to Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler, etc.
    Did we mention Stalin?.

While that is pretty dramatic what did he do or try to do besides that?

Remember that in the election he tried to "steal" he still go what? 75 million votes. ?

    OFGS look at a map!

Russia's main northern feet base is located at Severomorsk on the Kola Peninsula, less than 120 miles as the crow files from the Finnish border. Based on the geography subs from that base cannot help but be seen heading 'towards' or away from Finland. Same in the south with Russia's main Baltic naval base at Kaliningrad. Any Russian sub based there is only about 400 miles from Finland, tops. That's less than the distance from Washington DC to Boston! A Russian sub could 'threaten'/potentially fire a missile at Helsinki from either base while just staying moored in port! Having a sub cruise 'near' Finland changes nothing. Any time they're in their home port they're 'near' Finland.

I'm going to assume this question is sincere. Trump is a career criminal. He's only avoided prison, thus far, because he's very rich and a vindictive bully. He has a LOT of blood on his hands and he is constantly working (the only real "work" he does) to burn our country to the ground.

Comparatively, everyone knows what Putin is and has always been. Trump is masquerading as a benevolent saviour and is essentially mentally abusing his flock. He is so good at it that they don't even realize they are victims of domestic violence. People scoff at the woman that goes back to an abuser time and time again but that's exactly what they are doing no matter how many times his sheep mask drops and they see glimpses of the wolf.

The only part where he deviates is "The Honeymoon". He never takes responsibility and he never apologizes. He fills that spot with playing the victim (that's a big money maker for him).

The easiest way for me to sort things out is remove the race, gender and sexual orientation, political position, etc. and assess the actions/inactions against my own values, morals and ethics. Seemingly, many don't use that approach and the moral outrage involves <insert whatever they hate> while the same/similar actions/inactions from others are given a pass <insert whatever they don't hate> despite them being unethical, immoral and/or illegal.

That's not how it is supposed to work. We don't change our opinions based on the other person's political position or our admiration of his supposed "wealth" (he tried to sue somebody for saying that he wasn't really a billionaire) on other immaterial data. In healthy relationships, we can step back and assess people and situations and move away from toxic relationships even if that means we need to estrange from loved ones, distance from co-workers or walk a fine line with our employers. Health adults with a strong sense of self don't need other people to tell them what to think and they don't become angry when faced with conflicting information. We aren't afraid of have dissenting opinions and we don't worship other humans. He has gaslighted his flock to the point they have become complicit in his efforts to destroy our Constitution. That's why he's very dangerous.

    1. What do you think is dramatic about @Dur's post?

    2. Is stealing an election not a big issue for you?

Many reasons. Starting with role in the demise of the USFL in the 1980s.

He also tried to get his Vice President, Congress and state officials to "find votes" for him and refuse to certify the results.

His ***** chasing. His penchant for putting his name prominently on everything he owns. His crudity. His vulgarity.

    Is that enough for you?
