Here is an interesting study of how hanging suicides increased at the same rate firearm suicides decreased during the 1975 to 1998 time period in Australia.

I'm sorry, it sounds like you were around at the time and you're not familiar. Those were separate events.

 

If that guy with a knife had time to stab you he would have had plenty of time to shoot you if he had a gun instead of a knife

 

Well this is my problem with statistics. 5.7% suicide rated probably just suicide by guns. Or it's an old statistic it's somehow being manipulated in a way it makes it seem like less of a problem than it is and it's then used to prop up gun laws.

The only purpose of all gun laws is to make sure the population does not have power it's not about crime it's not about safety.

Because we all know criminals will simply just break the law that's why they're criticals.

How were they unprepared exactly? They have armor and guns too. They knew it was a single shooter who had already executed children. What else were they waiting for? The better equipped officers did nothing except wear some military gear and rough up the parents. The door wasn't breached until a school official gave them a key.

 

It was just a few months ago when the teacher's union, as a condition to return to the classroom, wanted the police out of schools. Just saying.

 

The first officers to arrive just happened to be in the area. They were not prepared. How would they know it was a single shooter? They did not see him go into the school. The better equipped officers had a shield which was used while entering the classroom. ASAIK, It has not been confirmed whether the shooter was already dead by the time they entered the classroom (suicide)

 

I see you're still running from the answer. What stopped the guy with the knife? How many guesses do you need? You clearly have no idea what weapons are capable of, even though people in the UK are stabbing each other like crazy.
