I am also against increasing the size of the supreme court. We need to be doing things that make our system more stable, not undermining its stability.

US citizens are a bigger drain on the economy than first generation immigrants. If we want the country to do better, then we need to triple the amount of legal immigration.

The only reason first generation illegals would be less of a drain is because they aren't citizens and don't qualify for the benefits other poor citizens have. The left had a super majority just a few short years ago and they did nothing, there's a reason why they didn't, they can't support the numbers. I would love for anyone to do a study of tripling the economic impact. That being said there's 40 million immigrants here now, tripling that would be 120m. or 1/3rd of the country's population and there is zero way America can take a 80m increase without killing all social programs.

 

Immigrants raise better kids. 2nd generation immigrants are better than us too.

If we care about the country, we need a constant stream of immigrants who are welcomed. Immigration should be a greater source of our population than the birth rate.
