We should accept people wills skills and/or education. I have found many immigrant medical doctors to provide excellent care to patients. These are the sort of people we should let in.

We do not need the unskilled, the uneducated, or IT workers brought in by H1B VISAs to take jobs away from Americans. We do not need people fleeing communism to come to America to advocate for neo-communism.

 

That is a selfish attitude, and it is short sighted.

We need people who need us. If we can't turn their kids into doctors, then that means we can't turn our own kids into doctors, and we should really be working on that.

 

We can’t help the scum that’s born here, we have to deal with it. We can avoid having murders committed by illegals by keeping them out.

Look, if a president as determined as Trump couldn't stop illegal immigration, maybe it's not something any president has the power to do. Maybe it's a little more complicated than border security.

People are leaving their country for a reason, nothing we do within the United States is going to stop that.

 

We could require abortions among groups who we've predetermined are more inclined to grow up criminals (which is what you are doing with the refugee population. That is the logical conclusion of the logic you are applying to our immigration situation.

Why haven't you mentioned that we will get more doctors and engineers on your list of all the terrible things they would bring? Don't you believe that any of them would eventually become doctors? A high number of them are children, surely given a chance to grow up in the US they will grow up to do good things.

Our immigration system has to be built to deal with the immigration we have.

 

I’m in favor of legal immigration with the rules being followed to a T. I’d even say I would much more prefer an immigration system similar to what Mexico has.
