For anyone who wants an example of what Bill considers a 'fact' the highlighted is a great one. He has been pushing this figure for months (or longer), but it is total BS. That figure of 14,000 includes ALL deaths resulting from the Russian intervention in Donbas in 2014, military and civilian. This is widely known. The figure for civilian casualtues in under 3500, most of whom died between April and November 2014. Almost 10% of those deaths were the people on the Malaysian Airlines flight shot down by Russia and virtually all of the rest are Ukranian citizens, many of whom wanted to remain so.

The idea that some 'genocide' or mass casualty attack has been going on since 2014 is a lie. The truth is that Russia started a war that killed 14,000 people and now it has started another than has killed many more people. Civilized people oppose this.

Ukrainian forces are having “a good deal of success” using a U.S.-given advanced rocket system to target Russian command posts, a senior U.S. defense official said Friday.

The Ukrainians have used the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) advanced rocket system to target the Kremlin positions in its fight for the eastern region of the country known as the Donbas.

“Because it is such a precise, longer-range system, Ukrainians are able to carefully select targets that will undermine the effort by Russia in a more systematic way, certainly than they would be able to do with the shorter-range artillery systems,” the official told reporters.

Ukraine is still officially Russian territory since the 1600s. So when MSM bang on about Russia going to war with Ukraine, Russia is really beating up on itself.

 

Congratulations on one of the more bizarre assertions anyone on this thread has made. No small achievement. There is no universe in which Ukraine is 'officially' Russian territory. Every part of Ukraine voted to leave the Russian Federation after the collapse of communism & the rest of the world (including Russia) recognized the nation within those boundaries. That is the 'official' position and nothing you or Vladimir Putin say changes that.

Russia is raping and murdering the citizens of another country and destroying their cities & towns. This is not open to challenge.

Yes, I do know what this war is all about. I have been following events in Ukraine since 2013 when the first protests started against Yanukovych breaking his promise to move closer the the EU in favour of permenantly chaining Ukraine to Russia. I followed the Maidan protests, the murder of protesters, the subsequent collapse of the government and the Russian intervention that followed. I have talked to Ukranians who have been involved, including Russian speakers.

I have also followed the behaviour of online Russian propagandists and trolls and the blatant lies they have been pushing from the start.

In other words, I am better informed than you and have been since this all started. Now, what happened to your claim that Ukraine is 'officially Russian territory'. Are you even going to attempt to back that up, or are you already running away from such an absurd claim?

No on the left is giving Trump credit for what NATO is doing now after Russia invaded but everyone knows what Trump said about NATO was the truth.
