    Is that more than speculation?

The claim made was that Russia moved into the Donbas area to protect the Russian-speaking population from artillery and from Azov irregulars.

We do know about the MIC. We know there are lobbyists from the weapons-making industries (defense industry) active in Congress.

Hmmmm, seems to me you don't like English speaking journalists interviewing civilians in the Donbass. Doesn't fit your narrative/propaganda, does it? :roflol:

If you want the truth, ask the civilians. If you want BS, listen to the fake news media.

The conflict really flared up on Feb 14th 2022 and then Russia move in on Feb 24th 2022.

Perhaps it was just coincidence but we've had a lot of problems since Biden became president. Yes I know there is a claim that it was all Trump's fault, but I think we are well into things Biden started now.

Trump the loose cannon? Putin was terrified of him, had no idea what he might do, more so than he is of NATO who has done very little for Ukraine to date. Just look at the photos of Putin and Trump's meetings.. Trump dominated the little guy.

The debate here? Good question. It's drowned out by all the childish yelling and screaming about domestic issues and non-issues.

That's what the guy from the Bundeswehr was talking about, too. From ordering a PzH 2000 till receiving it takes about 24 to 36 months, because they are basically hand manufactured, that is the time to build one of those Momas. Besides of all the internal paper work crap.
Even if Rhein Metall would get humping with OT, 24/7, it could build maybe 50 or 60 of those a year.
    The same in the US

Trump wasn't undermining NATO, he was just pointing out their short comings like not paying their fair share and letting their military equipment fall apart. Of course that all proved true after Putin attacked. Many NATO countries like Germany are scrambling to buy new military weapons which of course makes the MIC very happy. Nothing like a good scare to get everyone paying for security. Sounds like what organized crime cartels do when it goes business to business scaring them into buying their protection.

Trump questioned Article 5, without which there is no NATO.

Nobody in NATO took that idiot serious, they all knew 4 years and it is over. The rotten spoilt child would be gone. Kim played him, love letters, Putler played him, all played him and just laughed their arses of when ever he through one of his childish tantrums.
Did they have to take him serious, well yes he was the US President, but honestly, they were buying time.
What is happening now, is the aftermath of Dotard's presidency.
Germany is now investing in its Army gigantic amounts, because of Putler, who thought he could use Dotards destruction of NATO to his advantage..
Luckily we have Biden, who understands that there is no alternative to NATO.

No kidding. Hell they can't even keep up with the amount of money pissed away supporting nazis. You're right, although I think it's a little over $60 billion. Apparently their major concern is that an American veteran is interviewing civilians in the war torn areas of the Donbass.
