Present a link and then we can compare what Griner was doing that is different than drug smuggling... looking forward to it...
End of day, Russian law dictates. Sad that Biden is doing everything possible to get her out but left Marc Fogel to rot. Too bad Fogel doesn't have Hollywood and athletes batting for him.
I'm just curious if ANYBODY in MAGAworld knows how to post a link..... thought I'd help out. 1. Go to a separate tab 2. Find an article that tells everybody what the **** you are talking about 3. Go to the little box (address bar) at the top, highlight the entire URL (everything in the address bar), and type CTRL-C to "copy the link" 4. Come back to the PF.com tab, go to your post in progress , put the cursor where you want your link, and type CTRL-V to "paste your link" 5. Hit Post Reply as normal (hint, you should paste the link before you click Post Reply) 6. This will allow anybody to open your link and learn all the great stuff YOU know... Give it a roll next time...
Interesting how Fame, Race and being a Transexual puts someones life at the top of the list of importance to get them out of a Russian prison when Marc Fogel who's found guilty of the same Cannibis charge has been sitting in jail for a longer period of time is forgotten, because to Liberals he doesn't fit the narrative, but Brittney Griner does and scores Democrats points if they can get him released.
Being black is a privilege these days. Just about the entire corporate world, government, and Hollywood are bowing to them.
Oh yea https://www.theroot.com/officers-pursuing-white-suspect-arrested-an-innocent-bl-1849370588#replies https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/27/us/nevada-man-jailed-misidentified-lawsuit/index.html I bet they are.
You're the one spouting potentially unrelated garbage.... back it up or expect people to continue to ignore you... I don't have time or interest to follow every Ray Epps distraction post....
what makes you think she is missing the racist in America? she misses America, sure, but not the racists that said, what would the USA do to a Russian that was bringing scheduled one drugs into this country
Griner is indeed asking for that card, and she did so primarily on the basis that she's famous. There's other people busted in Russia that heck, we've only heard of BECAUSE of Griner. In any event, Russia ISN'T part of the free world and it's their laws to make. Heck, I'm okay with most drugs being legal up to a point but when you go to another country you respect their laws or else. Also remember, my issue with all of this isn't really political so much as it is celebrities getting the same shake the rest of us would. Look, if you or I went over to Russia with that vape pen we'd have gotten nailed just as much. She wanted to be immune from the same laws that woulda busted us harshly just because she's famous. Screw her. Remember it all you want although I've said elsewhere that I'm fine with whatever sentence they get. Although - I kinda have a soft spot in my heart for the guy who cosplayed a shaman. For years I had a World of Warcraft character who looked just like him. Don't judge me.
Yes he is a Transexual, so tell me is Lia Thomas a Man or a Woman and what is your defintion of a Woman. Is this person below a Woman or a Man
Hard for me to feel a lot of compassion for Griner when there are plenty of Americans in US prisons for the same exact thing.
It can be both; just because you think the left is guilty of stuff doesn't mean the right isn't. I agree that complaining about Supreme Court decisions is a bit low for politicians, but both sides do it. Trump did it every time they decided something in a way he didn't like. As for the 2nd link, Kagan's point is about the appearance of partisan bias, which clearly fits the Roe v Wade decision. "“Overall, the way the court retains its legitimacy and fosters public confidence is by acting like a court, is by doing the kinds of things that do not seem to people political or partisan.” But frankly, that train left the station long ago. I'm curious: which do you think is more disrespectful to the country - boycotting the national anthem over police brutality, or storming the Capitol to try and impede the rubber-stamping of a new president?
I believe that making law enforcement out to be the bad guys while turning criminals into heroes is ridiculous. I believe that the violence of the George Floyd protests was disrespectful to the country, which included violence against officers and burning down police stations. I believe the defunding of police in order to fight a so called war against social injustice is ridiculous. I believe that rioters taking over swaths of territory from the US and turning them into lawless zones is insurrection against the country. I believe rioters trying to storm federal courts in Portland was an insurrection against our country while the left defended these rioters, refused to let Trump protect them with National Guard troops, defended the rioters, and even went so far as to posting the bail to let rioters out. These are the things that Griner's and others taking a knee during the Anthem have incited rioters to do. And, the national anthem protests have led to a breakdown in law and order and increases in crime in every major US city.
It's telling that not only do you avoid answering the question, you try to tie a whole lot of violent conduct to the peaceful anthem protests in order to try and bolster your case. Do you have any evidence that the bolded bit is true?
If you travel internationally, I hope that's not your position. When in Rome, and all that. Break local laws, expect the local penalties.
Seriously? The left have been fighting the police about "social injustice", defunding many departments, attacking the police as being the bad guys, which has caused many to quit or retire, recruitments are lacking, most departments are running short handed, and crime is spiraling out of control in every major city there is. How much more proof do you need? The left claim that most of the George Floyd protesters were "peaceful protesters" but utterly fail to admit that most of the Jan 6th protesters were also "peaceful protesters".
This was the claim I was challenging: "These are the things that Griner's and others taking a knee during the Anthem have incited rioters to do." What you just wrote here has nothing to do with that.
Sure it does. Their taking a knee and disrespecting our country and it's law enforcement incited all of this crime in their attempt to fight social injustice. Hell, several places are letting bad people out of jail with no bail because bail is social injustice. So, taking a knee and disrespecting our country and law enforcement and passing laws to fight social injustice has led to all of this, including all of the damage done during the George Floyd riots. Even San Francisco itself has removed their DA from office because her social injustice policies led to extremely high out of control crime. The kicker is that all of this increased crime hits the black and minority areas the hardest. By fighting their so called social injustice, social injustice has gotten worse. And we can thank Collen Kaepernick, Brittney Griner, and the others who have done this to us.
Absolutely irrelevant. You'd have to be brain dead not to know you need to watch your Ps & Qs in a country run by a totalitarian regime. I grew up in stone's throw from Canada & knew as a very young man not to run afoul of their laws & statutes whenever I was there. In freaking Canada. She rolled the dice in a dictatorship & lost. That's on her, & I have no sympathy for her.
