So, please, the next time you feel an urge for the knees to jerk, vocal chords to shriek in hysterics, you might want to wait a day and wait for the facts.

Trump passports taken in FBI search of Mar-a-Lago returned to former president

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-passports-fbi-search-mar-a-lago/

Washington — Passports belonging to former President Donald Trump that were taken by the FBI during the search conducted at his South Florida residence last week have been returned to the former president, a law enforcement source confirmed to CBS News.

The source said the passports were given back to Trump after they were discovered by a "filter team," a group of federal investigators who screen the materials seized during the execution of a search warrant for privileged or extraneous information.

The FBI said in a statement that when executing search warrants, the bureau "follows search and seizure procedures ordered by courts, then returns items that we do not need to be retained for law enforcement purposes."

Were the passports part of the items spelled out in the warrant that could be seized? Initially someone stated they were taken to prevent him fleeing the country. If they scooped up those by "accident" when will they return the Attorney/Client privileged documents that they scooped up by "mistake"?

Not a 'mistake'. explained in great detail by a former Wash DC prosecutor (30 years experience)

THere were no atty/client privileged docs taken, not in the inventory list.

Couldn't get past the dude's extreme hyperbolic commentary in the first minute. If it wasn't a "mistake" what was it in your words? Try to keep it brief.

So if something takes a little effort you need a liberal to do it for you. Got it.

    Are you just too sensitive?

A mistake but they don't want to admit it.

That's what happens when you do get some kind of stupid crap.

Passports don't look anything like a document. I don't know how they could be confused about what they were seizing. Either it was a mistake or they were told to grab anything with Trump's signature or photo (remember the photo albums also taken) on it. These guys are supposed to be professionals and yet they took passports having nothing to do with classified documents. What about the Attorney/Client privileged documents?

Did Trump sign a bond on Melania that he would not flee? Bill Maher had the purchase receipt :)

I watched the entirety of the video and frankly, it's scary how much BS a prosecutor can actually get away with with the help of a gavel. The Fourth Amendment is very clear, and also very restrictive so how does a prosecutor expand on what is to be defined? By claiming a concept as novel as 'constructive possession' which in tldr means that anything inside of a room, a house, etc that could be remotely linked to a person is in their constructive possession.

So when they seized 'all documents', they literally meant anything that had Trump's name on it(more specifically, anyone who was in a room. Hence the Melenia gate) and they 'temporarily' seize it to prove with circumstantial evidence that person x possessed it at one point.

Basically, another dirty trick that they're not lawfully allowed to do but good luck getting a judge to say "You had to stay within the barometers of the law"

He won't need them if he wanted to leave the country. He can do the Harold Holt, Prime Minister of Australia from 1966 to 1967. Rumours say he left our shores via a Chinese submarine, others state he drowned.

With the probable state of Chinese submarines in 1967, it could easily have been both....

Trust me, there's already a dacha in a birch forest outside of Moscow awaiting T****'s arrival... They just need to finish that 9 hole course and stock it with fast food...

Who claimed he did on the passport issue? I was actually stunned he travels anywhere without his current valid passport, just in case he's gotta make a break for it.....

So it was little surprise (to me) that that was the first thing he checked when he got home.

He won't make THAT mistake again.....

(LOL... who am I kidding? Of course he will)

Yes.... but then T**** would have to point it out and he'd have to show his passports to prove it and then we'd get another laugh at his expense... Or he'd refuse to show them and he'd look like a doofus for making the claim in the first place. Win/Win either way....

I've learned how the game is played with him.... hasn't always been easy, but I got it now...

He learned from Daddy, Alan, Roger and Roy.... In no particular order.

One of those is going to prison shortly and one should still be there...
