    Well, "the thread" is not worthless in any case but, certainly not because "you" say so.
    But, you asked for a definition of contradictory terms; there is "NO" such thing as a MAGA Republican. There are MAGA RINO's, there ARE (a few) Republican's, but there is no such thing as a MAGA Republican; not even tRaitor tRump. 8)

    "Well, there you go again". I'm saying, in MY humble opinion, MAGA Republican's are RINO's. President Biden was being kind, not making that distinction.

    Seems to them MAGA is 1/6, nothing more. The threat of 1/6 is the threat of a 3-4 hour delay of the operation of Democracy. Not a threat to Democracy itself. A THREAT EASILY dealt with next time by NOT refusing the offer of 16,000 national guard in anticipation of a protest of 10s of thousands of angry Americans, and accepting 500-1000 that could have easily prevented 1/6 from being anything other than another protest in DC.
    1/6 was a protest gone to riot. Less damage to property than 1000s of BLM/ANTIFA riots. Less damage than the leftist riots in DC in January 2017 protesting against Trump. This is nothing more than Biden and Democrats grasping for the only message they have to offer in the mid term elections, vote for democrats so they can save you from "MAGA". And we can see how they go about doing that.

    AND, IMHO, that thinking is wrong. The, true, Republican Party has been taken over by tRaitor tRump and his "MAGA's". Their only platform is "TRUMP", and NONE of the traditional Republican value's. Which, IMHO, makes them, including tRaitor tRump, the real RINO's.

    The bigger threat to democracy (and the biggest our country has faced since at least the Civil War) was Trump's attempt to have Pence overthrow the election for him. Luckily Pence refused . . . Hence the mob of violent cultists storming our Capitol and chanting for Pence's death
