The left always wants to follow Europe as a model, yet when it comes to abortion, the left would rather follow China as a model. If we would mimic any country in Europe, you would get ALLOT of republican support to codify abortion rights. But the left would rather follow extremist nations like China. There was a bill presented by the Republicans to codify abortion rights which would have made abortion legal in all 50 states, yet the Democrats voted it down. So yes, Democrats are stripping women of body autonomy.
