    Well let's not forget that because of the conflict, those who were in the area that were pro ukranian have either fled, been killed or jailed.

    lol.

    so...when you genocide a people, you kind of sway the outcome of the vote. not like it would matter, after a country is rewarded it's soverienty you can't just hold referendum to split chunks off if you dont like who's currently in power. If we did that California would have become a province in Canada when Trump was voted in.

    Soo...I'm hearing Mafiosi is considering closing the border to mobilization aged men, so they can't flee I'm guessing?........anyone bring up a conversation about new white LADA in your household?...

    Want to know why so many Russians live in Ukraine? Stalin killed off about ten million Ukrainians (starved them to death, mostly) and repopulated vast areas with Russians.
    I am worried because a few hundred thousand Russians live in Australia. I fear Putin might try to claim Australia as part of Russia. Most of us, like Ukrainians and many Russian Ukrainians, would rather be dead.

    According to interviews by Patrick Lancaster in Kherson, those who were pro Russia and pro Ukraine at one time was just about even. Because of the constant shelling by Ukraine though, almost everyone in Kherson will be voting to unite with Russia. When asked how do they know it was the Ukrainians that were doing the shelling, the response was that everyone knows because of the direction the attacks are coming from.

    The motivation is very high in Russia, because the fighting in Ukraine is not seen as an invasion of another's territory, but as another attack by the West on their Russian and Slavic culture, heritage and civilization. This time though it's not the Latin Pope, the Soviets or Nazis who want to destroy their civilization. It's the globalists and the liberal World Economic Forum.

    If the punishments towards deserters are high, it's because they see their very existence as well as the world's existence and welfare, as being threatened by an unimaginable evil.

    LOL. No. Just no, Jeannette. Putin injected the region with militia and militants to disrupt and cause violence and chaos. Destablizing the region which is when and how all this nonsense started happening. So it will give them their bullshit excuse to do what it is that they are trying to do right now.

    If they were acting in good faith, they would have upheld their agreements they've signed by resepecting the Ukranian soverignty and allowed those who were pro Russian and they felt were under threat, a safe path to citizenship.

    Simple land and resource grab by the midget in charge.

    The fire bombed recruiting centers and families fighting with military police say it is not well liked in Russia. The very fact so few were volunteering that Putin had to badly damage the economy with his mass mobilization proves how few supported it. Also, yes, it is a mass mobilization and not a partial because all of Putin's claims have proven to be lies.

    63 year olds getting conscripted because they served in Afghanistan in the early 1980's, 32 year old Siberian coal miners with no military experience being forced on buses, protesters forced on buses, volunteers never getting paid theor bonuses, and co scripts illegally forced to go to Ukraine. Every claim Putin has made has been a lie.
