Wasn't it mostly Democratic states that shut down, and closed schools? Nice try; poor research.

more deep research in the the LW excuse bag, I see.

Actually, we haven't had a single month of job loses since Biden took office, and the US economy is now bigger than it was pre-pandemic. Funnily enough, our last month where we experience greater job loses than jobs gained was the month before he took office, with December of 2020 showing a 140,000 jobs deficit.

Do you know the difference between the DEBT and the DEFICIT? The DEBT is the total that the government owes... accumulated year after year. It currently stands in excess of $31 TRILLION.
The DEFICIT is how much money we overrun the budget for a given single year. The DEFICIT now stands in excess of $85 BILLION.

$31 TRILLION is a LOT more than $85 BILLION.

There was a date et for departure based on successful completion of a series of quid pro quo steps. The first step was a ceasefire. The Taliban failed to establish a ceasefire so the whole deal was totally invalidated.

Who elected you the LORD GOD OF THE FORUM issuing orders about how anyone posts here. You are simply afraid to discuss specifics and want to change the subject. That dog don't hunt.

    Correction;

The Debt held by the Public is the amount Uncle Sam borrowed to offset his deficit, and as of yesterday, $24.6 Trillion.

    Source; Debt to the Penny

--and it's over the past couple years it seems.

The thing is that we got to note the drop in in employees%population shown in my post #90 --it's saying that we're missing ten million employees! OK, so someone can say it's the retired people, or the stay at home moms, but what confirms the down turn is the fact that we're not creating wealth--
    nw3Q2022.png
--which has been falling for almost a year now. Like u I'm getting that we got some serious problems here.

Sure, retiring people, kids, stay at home moms, folks working outside the recorded economy (cash only), all that I considered above in my post #136 but the fact that as a whole Americans are no longer creating wealth means something. We're obviously hurting and it's something that's come up over the past year or two.

That's true, and then on the other hand the latest increase was nominal so the market (leading indicator) soared.

This is why Truman always wanted to find a "one-handed" economist so he could find out what's happening.

Of what? I responded to the concept of Republicans being better for jobs, they are not and haven't been in half a century.

…and I agree with you completely, bush jr. was a terrible president.

Why can’t anyone on this forum realize I HATE ALL POLITICIANS!!

FYI: the corrupt politicians of this nation have you right where they want you, divided.

    HELLO!

    Among all nations, here are the main reasons why both Trump and Biden had/has an average Employment Rate;

    1. A majority of employed women don’t go back to work after giving birth. Fact; Among all nations, the U.S. has a below average female employment rate,

    2. The countries who have substantially increased their annual intake of foreign high skilled workers generally have a higher Employment Rate.

Once again, our deficits have been financed by Public Debt holders, both domestic and foreign, and as of yesterday, “Debt held by the Public” amounted to $24.6 Trillion.

    This is from https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/americas-finance-guide/national-debt/:
“The national debt ($31.46 T) is the total amount of outstanding borrowing by the U.S. Federal Government accumulated over the nation’s history.”
This data is from the US Government Department of the Treasury cite listed above. Your source is off by almost $7 Trillion. Or are you saying that US Treasury Department, the government itself, is lying about the National Debt?

    Very well:
Since the person you voted for in the last presidential election took office our country has experienced record high inflation, illegals pouring over our borders, higher crime, and the overall morale of our country has declined.

…please don’t bother responding with some garbage internet search crap. I’m telling you what I see, not what some phone, or laptop tells me to see. You should try my strategy, unless you just want to argue about whose party is right.

Politicians serve themselves and NO ONE ELSE.

I blame multinationalism. They have gotten so efficient, there is no downstream profit left over for wages.

Yep! Now they can't as readily find the workers willing to work two or three jobs at minimum rate required to confront the increased demand that the Biden administration has created.

    No, it was NOT!

Was that why you thought Trump created jobs? He didn't! He's the only President in modern times to LOSE jobs.

In any case, this thread is about Biden CREATING jobs. Not bad for an 80 year old.

Because the deficit refers to ONE year, and the debt is cumulative. You don't know the relation between debt and deficit? We cover the deficit with DEBT.

Look. Right after you started making false statements (I think the first one was about a $5 gas price) you lost credibility. And it has gotten worse since then. To recover credibility, you need to RESEARCH and SHOW the results of your research with references, links, quotes... that support any number you submit. But throwing more CRAP to see if anything sticks is NOT going to help you.

So you actually believe that throwing in unsubstantiated falsehoods is "support" for your conspiracy theory? It's not!

But this is off-topic here. Your false claims have been debunked in the threads where each is on-topic.

Are you hurting? I'm not, and what has happened in the part 2 years is less than 1%, so maybe its not time to panic yet. We are an aging society, there is no escaping that fact.

Sure, Your political leader added $8 trillion on only 4 years and you loved him for it.
