Is that the new excuse after getting caught with two fake claims already?

    Classic leftist claims

CLAIM: They banned the book on Rosa Parks

SCHOOL: We have over 12 books on Rosa Parks. We just didn't buy that one.

CLAIM: Oh, Then you reviewed the book, then sent it back because you didn't like its content.

SCHOOL: No, we never even purchased the book to review it in the first place because we already have 12 books on Rosa Parks

CLAIM: You know people donate books to libraries, Right?

SCHOOL: You know we already told you we have 12 books on Rosa Parks already. Right?

    Hilarious

which 12 books are those. Why is this book highly against their learning criteria when the other 12 aren’t ? These two things are in direct conflict.

It never was against their learning criteria as they already have books on Rosa Parks. Don't be ridiculous.
How can it be against their learning criteria if they never ordered it or read it?
School libraries have very limited budgets. Will 13 books on Rosa Parks be enough for you or do we need a few hundred that all replicate a single moment in history.
Just admit the claim is fake, they were caught faking the claim, so you can stop with all these excuses that make no sense.

You bring up Nazis and then accuse me of…..

Libs always always always accuse others of what they do themselves.

    Obviously it isn't.

But, a question: should Mein Kampf be in school libraries?

Why shouldn’t it be? My brother read it in HS. It was an optional book for me, so I opted out.

Also, why did they say it was highly against their values?

Not only did I read the thread, but I provided the 5th post proving your claims were all false. That you can't dispute.
Maybe you should have done a little more research before starting a thread with information the entire planet knows was debunked.
    Just sayin

There's nothing 'incoherent' about it, but against my better judgment I'll give one more chance. "1619" was a highly controversial, Anti-American propaganda book that made the preposterous claim, that no it wasn't July 4, 1776 or the year of 1774(the year of the Continental Congress) but NO, a whole century and a half prior is where the story of America supposedly begins. A farcical statement if there ever was one, and this farce is the catalyst behind the present day 'critical race theory' and other such nonsense.

I will show you one more time.

Despite never ordering the book, review records, first reported by Jacksonville Today, show that the county did review “The Life of Rosa Parks” — for four minutes — and rated it highly against the county’s criteria, before sending it back. And the person overseeing the review process, Michelle DiBias, Duval’s supervisor of instructional materials and media services, resigned March 8 for calling gay characters in a removed book “contrary to the design of humanity.”

The United States was born in 1776, but the American story is far older.

Gee, I am so grateful. How can I ever repay you?
So it was really not history, but propaganda, you say. Then it is all cleared up.
Also keep in mind that unscrupulous people of all sorts try from time to time to pass propaganda as history. It is for those who study history to expose such fraud.

Have you any evidence any numbers of this particular book was donated to this school or is this an attempt at " cleanup on aisle 6"?

You posted that right after your thread got debunked with the claims of the school
Now it wasn't banned, it was just reviewed and rated highly against the counties criteria?
Fine, provide this REVIEW RECORD you claim exist and the rating.
    I'll wait right here.
Given the fact they already have 12 books of Rosa Parks, your story falls apart before it even begins.

“The school system actually responded on social media and said, well, we have 14 other books about Rosa Parks, we just didn’t have that one, because you have to make choices about what you do,”.

    The third thing.

I just find it pathetic and sad that folks sit their and whine about a book not being on the purchase list instead of assessing the bigoted populism that is the MAGADeSantis machine

I personally(and I admit this is a personal view) believe that you can't tell one story, without telling the other. We were 'American' colonies, but we were colonies of the British Empire. Even if we had an anti-slavery sentiment(and as the fissure of the civil war indicates, it was rather split. You know, the whole Great Compromise and other ordeals leading up to it), there wasn't anything we could have done at the time. Which is why I don't view the framers harshly. I'd love to ask modern historians and contrarians what would they have done, to kept the newly formed union together?

They want to fight these old battles of the past, but have no idea of the context of those old battles. In any event, these old past events are used in my view to create strife and social disorder. To pit American against American, under the pretext of 'learning history'. We learned a lot of these things with no fanfare previously, why? It wasn't connected to a political agenda.

So there is zero evidence even a single copy of this book was donated to this school.

    Thanks

Exactly. Race relations are worse than ever. The left wants to teach that whites are racist and the right wants to teach that no racism existed, ever. At least, that is the narrative that partisans want you to promote. It's not actually what's happening, though it soon will be a self fulfilling prophecy.

Allowing any citizen to order that a book be removed for review is very clearly a move against education.

The same goes for attacks on subject matter.

FL is turning education into a political war zone, with NO interest in what is required to create a good education for our kids.

It's also a direct assault on teachers, already a diminishing profession in America.

They want you to wallow in distracting bullshit since they can’t dispute the facts. Trying to whitewash the history of the United States is puerile and ignorant.
