Still, even if they are trolls or not, they can still post anti-west rhetoric with no fear of imprisonment like a person would in Russia for stating one is against war with Ukraine.

 

I 'learned' facts from a little thing called 'history' Bill. You may have heard of the term even though you do seem woefully ignorant on the subject. The battle of Stalingrad is regarded by historians to having commenced on 23 August 1942 and continued through to 2 February 1943. I'll save you the trouble of trying to count how many days that is for yourself. It's 5 months, one week and 3 days. Do the sums yourself if you want or (in your case) can.

The Battle for Bakhmut on the other hand commenced in early May 2022 but that was mainly clashes and artillery exchanges on the outskirts of the town. The battle proper commenced on the 1 of August 2022 and is currently ongoing. That's more than 8 months now! Hence my post.

The problem Bill seems to be that you automatically label any fact you don't like, even historical facts as 'fake news'. It seems to be almost a reflex action in your case. And if I may it's very convenient reflex because it means you don't actually have to do any critical thinking or research of your own, just parrot what you've read, listened to or watched on your favorite 'news' site. Expand your world 'Bill', leave your prepper bunker and explore the real world. It's actually very interesting out here. Not always pleasant but always interesting.

Any person with common sense wouldn't call lobbing bombs from 50 miles away a battle in a city. Stalingrad was within the city limits proper for 5 months. Bakhmut, on the other hand, hasn't been 5 weeks.

And where have I ever commented on the Azov battalion? Apart from its involvement in the siege of Mariupol it has next to zero relevancy. Your the one fixated on nazi's not me. Although now that you mention it since one of Putin's publicly stated war aims when he invaded Ukraine was to de-nazify the country. Apparently you also seem to think he's failed miserably trying to do that as well.
