Ron DeSantis jumps into the 2024 presidential race

What a laugh! The biggest challenge for Biden & the Dems, will be not neglecting to campaign, because it seems so obvious, they've got this in the bag-- thanks to the Republican positions on ABORTION, and GUNS. There is plenty of more GOP liability but, after those two things, it isn't even needed, since these topics are important enough, finally, to be voting issues for a lot of people. And Republican politicians, on those two, hold an opinion opposed to the way the vast majority of the public feels.

 

And now he tries to portray himself as a salt of the Earth, everyman-- against all those "elite," university types.

 

This is why your Party will get trounced: you think this is a top issue, for people. In truth, though, abortion access, is now a deciding issue, for many; taking some action, to rein in the epidemic number of mass shootings, has moved much higher on people's lists; trafficking in conspiracy theories, instead of accepting the legitimate results of our elections, is a deal breaker, for many. I could go on-- but I will no time soon, be coming to the need to ban drag shows, or crossdressing.

 

They're all hoping that Trump gets sent to prison.

But then Trump posted this incomprehensible piece on Truth Social:

 

He already changed the FL laws so that if he loses, he'd still get to keep his job as FL Governor.

Classic political corruption.

That's what blame shifters do. They'll never own their errors and always blame someone else.

Heck, DeSantis shut down Florida, and later blamed Trump and Democrats for it,

 

It's true.

But he will be weakened.

I doubt the voters of Florida want to be led by a guy who has failed to make it on the national stage.

 

I can't even imagine the outrage of the MAGA if Biden said he was going to be friends with Kim Jong Un.

Or Xi.

But when it's Trump, that kind of insanity goes down without a hitch.

Well, it's obvious the dems are losing their **** over this. I don't know which I'd prefer but I think either Trump or Desantis would be good picks for the nominee.

 

It doesn't look like it. This was long expected, and he is way behind in the polls.

 

The Dems I'm watching on TV this AM are LTAO at the DEE Santis rollout efforts yesterday.

Never thought I'd say this, because he's a corrupt unelectable assclown, but Mango wouldn't have made most of these mistakes.

The Dems laugh at the circus that Trump and DeSantis will make out of the GOP primary.

 

Why? They apparently love losers....It's a core value these days...

Losing in the primary will only help his MAGA credentials, especially when he inevitably claims the primary was stolen by the guy whose national election was stolen....

 

So you have come to admit you are a "partisan", not a "reed blowing in the win". I can appreciate that. The military issue is not the only one, but it is a big one! Mass shootings have far more to deal with than the availability of weapons. It has to do with character in a decaying society. Abortion is also an issue of the devaluing of human life. You on the left are so bent on outlawing things, you never examine virtue. And those that do, you label as religious bigots!

 

Possibly. Either way, it will be a win for America 1st.

 

There is a lot to be gained in a primary campaign even if one loses. Experience and notoriety.

 

Funny how billionaires insist on wanting to be seen as everyday Joe's, while raving against the 'elite' (which they actually represent).

 

Watch what the DNC does to anyone candidate who runs against Biden. Let's not forget what they did to Bernie in 2016.

 

Making an early prediction. Trump is ahead now but this will change by next year.

My prediction is when the times comes Democrats will still vote for Joe. Not sure what the Independents will do.
