    NEW YORK (AP) — Former Vice President Mike Pence will officially launch his widely expected campaign for the Republican nomination for president in Iowa next week, adding another candidate to the growing GOP field and putting him in direct competition with his former boss.

    First of all. Lol. Hope he and Trump make it to the same debate stage..... would love to see that interaction.

    Anyone think he has a remote chance of getting the Republican nod?

    Whether we are Conservatives/Republicans, Independents, or Liberals/Democrats, shouldn't we all want better candidates?

    Pence isn’t it. Both Trump and DeSantis are excellent candidates. Far superior to any dem. But definitely not Pence. He is wasting his time.

    THAT says everything one needs to know about this country's politics. Quallity of the candidate matters none.....

    Does Pence stand a chance against Trump?? Not that Pence is of stellar character...but he would have to find a very clever way to out maneuver the master manipulator who is cut throat rage filled (leave no witnesses) to his core.

    If we thought we have been living in an ugly Trump era... we ain't seen nothing yet .Anyone competing with Trump is raw meat for him.(and many just eat it all up.)

    Chris Christie is throwing his proverbial hat into the mix again too. Seems like 2016 all over again. We have just under 18 months to go, I am intrigued as to how the Republican primary will play out.
