I'm happy to never be in Mike Pence's head....one would have to flog oneself nightly or pay someone to oblige you....

Not a prayer! But possibly he and Trump will cancel one another out.

Outside of Trump, the entire field sucks the bag, once again, because outside of Trump (nationalist) the field is filled with a bunch of globalists...

    Nobody's.

The corrupt elitist globalist RNC club want Pence to enter the race in an attempt to pull Trump votes away from Midwest voters (such as myself). It's not going to work. I'm still voting for Trump.

Hopefully people in New Hampshire are smart enough to see why Christie and Sununu are entering the field, and hopefully people in South Carolina are smart enough to see why Haley and Scott have entered the field...

It's all according to plan, in an attempt to boost Ron! 2024 .... not going to work. Still voting for Trump.

2016 will be 8 yrs prior, the political stage is different, 8 yrs is a long time in US politics. It may help Trump, but DeSantis may have an edge on Trump this time.

I think Pence will stick around for Iowa and then leave shortly after that.

Ron! is roasted... He won't even show his face in Florida for a public event anymore because more Trump people would gather there than his own and he doesn't want that sort of bad optics...

Ron! doesn't stand a chance against Trump.

DeSantis is far from over and Trump does and will have legal issues to contend.

trump failed to get the peoples vote in two elections, was impeached twice with a bipartisan consensus and is facing half a dozen lawsuits.

Why am I not surprised you think he is the only good one.

He won the 2016 election. No election was held in 2020. He was technically only impeached once, and it was a witch hunt. Then there was another witch hunt after he was usurped from office.

Spot on. Goes to show the type of candidate the trumpers will support ...Trump is virtually a criminal......but hey.....no problem. Then they complain when others call them a cult.

The sad thing is that there are some better candidates. But they don't stand a chance against the bully. Folks WANT this bully , and legally infested buffoon as their leader.

Funny how we actually think the candidate matters.

The US electorate today is right vs left. Each party will define their candidate, and 99% of the electorate will vote based on party, not on candidate.

And lets also be very clear. States gerrymandering districts, and they way votes are tallied, and suppressed in no way equates to how the overall electorate votes. Donald Trump did NOT win the popular vote. To show how gerrymandering actually changes things we need to look at the last 25 years where states have changed how they tally votes for electoral college representation to see that its become a partisan affair. There have been a total of 5 presidents elected who lost the popular vote and 2 of them were in the last 20 years.

We have politicians deciding who’s votes count, and who’s dont. We see the right in this country doing everything in their power to limit/suppress votes because in high turnout elections, they usually end up loosing. Limit votes, and it favors that party.

But in the end, I really don’t think we have much to worry about because we wont be a country much longer. The radical wing of the Republican Party is doing everything in their power to sew fear and doubt in our electoral process for the very reason I stated in the last paragraph. Division is good for the right, so they elect divisive candidates.

The sanctity of our electoral process has always been held high reguard, until the right started making claims that the process was flawed, because, well, they lost. In that world, if a republican looses, it can only be because the other side cheated. Thats a very dangerous game to play, but they are playing it and it is gaining in traction. If it continues much longer, it may literally be the end of this great experiment.

I find the irony too much that American democracy may end because of a spoiled rich kid who never did a damn thing in his life other than be born into a rich family, fly around in his private jet, have gold toilets in his penthouse apartment, with gold covered walls, wearing Armani suits, playing golf every day, convince the american public that he was the blue collar, everyday representation of them.

For what seriously? There is a zero percent chance that Pence will become the Republican nominee. I am willing to put my entire lifes net worth on the fact that Pence will not become the Republican nominee let alone the President.

All this does is sow more division within the Republican Party. Which I guess is a good thing if that's the goal.
