TLDR… you know nothing Jon Snow. Perhaps learn at least TWO of my positions before putting me in yer cute lil’ box. @FatBack … now I’m farrrrrrrrrrrr right. What’s a non partisan to do?
A brief history of the term RINO, from Roosevelt to Boehner Teddy Roosevelt was the first true RINO https://www.vox.com/2015/9/29/9416259/rino-word-history
Got it, the "Loony left" guy doesn't like things longer than bumper stickers, like most right wingers!
How about some intellectually honest self-reflection? Of course he was concerned how the media would portray him. Any important politician would be. But of course only up to a point. A politician needs to be concerned how they will be portrayed when it comes to reelection time. We all know they were looking for any possible excuse to portray him as bad. That could be things like not spending enough money in the budget, trying to pressure the justice department to launch an investigation into his political rivals.
Someone who truly worries about how they are portrayed, also worries about how they portray themselves.
LMAOROG, SERIOUSLY?? THIS GUY IS WORRIED ABOUT WHAT THE PRESS MIGHT SAY AND I AM NOT BEING SELF REFLECTIVE???? “The press is doing everything within their power to fight the magnificence of the phrase, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump tweeted. “They can’t stand the fact that this Administration has done more than virtually any other Administration in its first 2yrs,” he continued. “They are truly the ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!” Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 5, 2019 Trump issued the tweet hours after he said he would not attend this year’s White House correspondents’ dinner, telling reporters that it was “too negative.” Trump previously declined to attend last year’s dinner. https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/437610-trump-calls-press-the-enemy-of-the-people/
Oh 51%? OMG!! Illegal =/= traitor. Unethical =/= traitor. Whats the margin of error for the poll? Less than 1%? Are we gonna have a debate over whether "half" was a technical statement or an approximation? Did the poll include a question of how many Americans think other politicians are engaged in illegal/unethical behavior? I would guess its at least half (and that IS an approximation, btw)
The NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist National Poll released Friday, found that 51 percent of Americans believe the former president has done “something illegal,” 27 percent said he’s done something “unethical,” but “not illegal” and 19 percent said he’s done “nothing wrong.” 78% THINK HE'S AT LEAST UNETHICAL
So? There's still a lot of Americans who think he's 'literally Hitler.' Hopefully we can agree those people are not fully operating in reality ...and they get polled too, especially if they have the answers the poller (NPR/PBS) wants to find. Are you hoping this will dissuade Trump supporters via peer pressure? If so, you havn't been paying attention...
No one thinks they are impacted by propaganda, yet advertising is a 150 billion dollar industry. I don't need to be careful.
Ok. Let's play another angle. I've been libertarian for over 20 years. I've voted non D/R candidates most of that time. I've voted almost no D/R candidates for the big chair, exception being 2020, necessity brought me to vote Biden. Eww... Blech..... threw up in my mouth to even type it again. So.................. How, SPECIFICALLY, did Moscow convince me to vote Jo in 2016? I was voting Jo before anyone knew Jo was a thing. I mean, if Moscow wanted Trump in 2016, they should have conned me into voting Trump, yet, I resisted, as did millions of others. You need to 'splain that.
Another poll that is more about the decline in the credibility of the alphabet soup media, Than it is about Trump. Said media has been yelling that Trump is a crook for seven years or more now. And in a Poll in which those polled are likely 50-60% Democrat only 51% believe trump did something illegal? Your favorite media are losing their grip.
That's the downside of Democracy. You have to win votes. So I hose who are best at doing that govern, regardless of if they are actually the best to do it.
You are putting the responsibility on the candidate. I am putting the responsibility on us. There isn't any reason anyone should have voted to give Donald Trump power. Anyone who did is a bad person, and they own their choice. They can't blame Hillary for their being a terrible human being. Anyone still supporting Trump is scum.
I am putting responsibility on both. You were given a choice between two terrible candidates. The first time around was far more excusable if people didn't like what Hillary stood for, because at the time Trump was very unclear on what policy he would endorse.
Lots of hot air, completely self-absorbed, talking about freedom while not supporting it? Sounds very American to me.
Well, IF Trump own DOJ and Own FBI was trying to remove him, it must be telling how horrible trump is.
Nah, I support that about 25% of US adults are cult members, I'm hoping the other 25% who voted for Cheeto grow a brain before 2024
