The crimes and many genocides of the turkish ''republic'' should not be forgotten or ignored. Nor should their current genocide of kurds be.

lol kurd genocide.A dutch whose past is full of colonialization and crimes against local people in asia and americas with geert wilders banner in his profile trying to lecture others about humanity and democracy. What a joke.

Leave history to historians, not to kim kardashian. She is too busy with sucking lollipops.

Kardashian's input on this isn't particularly relevant, but it is funny to see how Turks never fail to deny the past of the Ottoman Empire.

Here's the difference between America and Turkey.

We killed about a half million Filipinos in the early 1900s during the Philippine-American War. Ironically, it was around the same time as the Armenian Genocide.

What we did in the Philippines was undoubtedly a genocide. We don't deny that. We also don't criminalize the admission of this. We also don't criminalize its denial either, because we figure its better to let ignorance be conquered by education rather than censorship.

The fact that the Armenian Genocide happened under Ottoman rule should make it relatively easy for Turks to admit to. It's not like this is some big issue for us to begin with, but the fact that your government goes to the trouble of even lobbying our government not to discuss this genocide really puzzles us.

No one would even really care what happened a hundred years ago if you just owned up to it. The fierce denial your people have about that is what gets our attention in the first place. It is really quite amusing, in fact.

saying it happened is not enough.thats the main stream history.until today not even a single archive has been opened by armenia yet you claim it happened lol.what makes you so sure about something which not even the country who claims of being the victim couldnt even provide a single document of their own to prove their claims except parliamentary resolutions?

what about Turkish losses? Are they lies? They are all registered with details in our archives.Who gives the right to the west to blame a nation for something we never did by completely avoiding our losses and sufferings? My mother's uncle's grandfather was murdered by armenians during the incidents along side the other hundreds of thousands of Turkish victims of armenians. So are we going to pretend like these people didnt die? I dont think so.Who will apologize from us? Kim Kardashian?

I'm sure if there was a genocide, it would be recognized. It's just too bad there wasn't one. Armenian "genocide" was more like a civil war... Both sides fought, both sides had casualties, but only one side exaggerates their losses.

What's bigger news is Kim Kardashian can spell genocide lol

The type of people that opens this type of threads based on weak knowledge and baseless hate are mostly the lowest level members of their societies.these socialy rejected people shape their views based on same old typical text book stuff about the countries they are already judgemental about and whatever you say or try to explain their diseased chronic views never change.a typical example of these type of people is like the one who opened this thread.take a look at other threads he opened too so you will realize what I mean.

desperate enough to try insulting Turkey via the big butt and breasts of kim kardashian. This type of ridicilous, immature attitude can be observed only in low level uneducated people like the owner of this thread.

Where are you getting genocide from? This little war has very little reliable information on casualties. The information is so poor that historians have estimated the deaths to be anywhere from 25,000 to 1 million.

To claim genocide on such faulty information is irresponsible.

lol bro you said there is almost 0 Armenians because of this "genocide"... Theres about 12 000 000 Armenians today. 45 000 of them live in Turkey. 3 million live in Armenia, the rest live in other places.

80 million is an irrelevant number.

The haters on here hate educating themselves. Because then they can't use ignorance as an excuse to hate and make things up. And if they knew what they were talking about, then they have no excuse to be ignorant, so no excuse to keep hating.

And Americans such as yourself have no credibility anywhere in this world, among anybody.

However, I agree, it is a waste of time talking to people like you. Like talking to a wall... A deaf wall...
