The government is still forcing religions to ignore their doctrine. This is not an abortion, contraception, etc.... issue. That is what you wish it was, it is just the battle Obama and the disingenuous left chose to attack religion. They knew the left wing media would fall for this misdirection and report it as such. This is an attempt to get the churches negative publicity and to take away their tax exempt status. The authoritarian leftists want power and control. Realize you've sounded the death knell for Romney a man whose entire political career is based on nothing but expedience. His every move during the primaries has been due to expedience. He hasn't had an honest day in his life. Let's see-- his campaign announced that he gets no tax advantages from keeping funds in banks in the Cayman Islands. He only released his tax returns after he lost the primary in South Carolina and because Gingrich demanded it. He lied publically and told everyone that Bain Capital created 100,000 net jobs. Romney will never be trusted on anything especially his claim that his private business experience is an asset. I've seen many Presidents Republicans and Democrats make mid course policy shifts.

I don't know if Obama planned things that way from the start, or if he just turned the situation to his advantage. Either way, big win for him. First, Obama comes across as the gracious compromiser, again, and his opposition again comes across as refusing to compromise. Second, we all get contraceptive coverage for more women. Third, it's a very popular political position for Obama. Other than the white evangelicals who wouldn't vote for him anyways, everyone likes the Obama policy. And fourth, the bishops still feel a need to scream about something, but they have no cause to complain. So now they're going to start raving about contraception in general and make themselves look insane. If that's "caving", Obama needs to cave more often. I wonder how long it will take for the crazies to understand just how badly they were played.

Please tell me where Obama has the authority to ORDER ins companies to offer birth control services to its policy holders AND also where Obama has the authority to tell those ins companies how much they can charge for those services I am sure libs love the idea of having more control over the provate sector but Obama does not have the power to do this via the US Constitution nor any law that I am aware of
