I wonder. because he beat the Bush horse to a pulp this last time. If he wins another 4 and the economy crashes, who will he blame?

...anyone but himself...stopping smoking made him crazy, it was the fault of those Marlboros. That's it, it's the fault of the cigarette industry.

The same people the right blame when they are in charge - anyone but themselves. That is the nature of politics, to claim as much praise and reward as possible and to avoid and pass blame whenever possible. The only real measure of their competence is how well they accomplish those two ends. To expect your favored politicians to do anything other than what Obama tries to do is to suggest that you vote for incompetent politicians.

I hate polls like this, because they don't have any choices that I would make.

The economy can't crash again if it is still lying in a heap on the runway from the first time it crashed.

I realize this is a very difficult question, and taxing on the brain, but you should try to answer it, somehow...actually your first one was pretty close.

Obama will simply continue to blame to blame Bush and say that he was given this bad economy even though he said that he now takes responsibility for this economy. He needs to learn to take care people's jobs rather than bs healthcare that no one really wanted.

To his credit, Obama never really blames Bush, he blames congress (of which he was a part during the crash) and Bush.

And the Healthcare Reform...it hasn't caused any real problems yet, because 80% of it hasn't been implemented yet. Just wait till 2016-18 when it swings into gear.

Are you kidding? What is this "if the economy crashes on obama's watch? Where have you been these past 3 years? The econmy is crashing under his watch now...the likes of which we haven't seen since the Great Depression when his socialist idol FDR kept a depression moving solidly along for 8 or 9 years straight with the highest unemployment we've ever seen.

To be fair, if the economy improves over the next 8 months does that mean you have to give Obama some credit? By the logic inherent in that kind of reasoning, you'd almost have to. You can't say that the president is to blame if things go wrong and can't have any credit if things go right. I just have a feeling, the way politics are today, that if it crashes the GOP will blame Obama, and if it improves it will be despite Obama or because of the GOP House. Regardless of which party does it, this kind of divisive reasoning is unfair.

Of course Obama will blame Bush.

Obama is the anti-Truman. The buck never stops on his desk.

That's true but not for what you think. I think the left, and of course, President Obama, have an endless list of scapegoats. The Koch Brothers have to be on the list and the NYT will keep lying till they get them to the top of the list. We will know desperation has set in when President Obama starts throwing close associates off the bus--the big bus--such as Eric Holder or Napolitano.

I can safely assume you were asleep the last 4 years? Because the ONLY thing Obama did was blame everything on Bush. He only blamed Congress when they didn't go along with his off the wall policies.

    keyword: Yet.

    I agree

No, because it shouldn't take 8 months for change to happen. He sat up in the White House blaming Bush while the economy and healthcare were taking a freefall. Now that things are in the trashcan he wants to try and make moves to "appear" like he's saving us. He had his chance to save us on DAY 1 of his service. He failed. Time to move on from this twit.

FYI - He shouldn't have to wait until an election year to do something about the issues facing America. That's called a bait & switch

Or we can blame the morons that voted for the tea party candidates in 2010 who have done everything in their power to obstruct any sane proposals to get the economy running again.

I think Obama will blame the Congress and China, that seems to fit the pattern.

Do you consider the Jobs Act a sane economic solution? Or a healthcare policy that has been considered the most fiscally irresponsible peace of legislation ever proposed by democrats, republicans and independent's alike. What about that stimulus package? borrow from China to buy Chinese? We are paying for that twice.

This is my favorite, what about extending unemployment benefits that make being unemployed a better option than finding work? What about putting sanctions on the country that owns our debt?

Oh wait wait, he bailed out a Green energy company... that collapsed.

Oh and GM, who was going to sell out to foreigners.

He outlawed production of conventional light bulbs( i wonder how that helped create jobs?)

And last but not least, Obama visited Disney land to make a speech about how he is going to improve tourism by setting up programs where well known foreigners won't be harassed by the TSA but don't worry all of our own citizens still have the right to a good constitutional friskin.
