Army Officially Reprimands Soldier Who Spoke At Ron Paul Rally Reserve Corporal Jesse Thorsen says punishment absolutely worth it The uniformed solider who endorsed Ron Paul during a rally in Iowa in January has been officially reprimanded by the US Army. Thorsen after speaking out for Ron Paul Despite US Army censorship - YouTube[/ame] Comment: Good for Him
He wanted to support paul and said it was worth it. Our government controlled by the AAE wants to use our soldiers for their illegal wars and throw them away when they get home, they don't need their fodder getting uppity and speaking out.
Yep. No excuse. Doesn't matter if he spoke for the greatest man in government right now (that would be Col West of course) the law is the law.
He deserves to speak freely, but there are different laws and regulations governing soldiers than there are average citizens. He should have known better.
The restrictions on appearing in uniform are entirely understandable. Regardless of what you think of whichever person is currently President, they are the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. It's not a stretch to imagine why the Army does not want personnel visibly supporting one candidate over any other. If he'd been out of uniform, more power to him.
