His plan was to simulate an alien attack, and pretend it was a real threat so as to generate enough public concern that the government could spend more money pulling ourselves out of the economic pit we find ourselves in just like WWII finally pulled the nation out of the great depression.


In theory it does have some merit but imaginary aliens do not pose a big enough threat to get the public enthusiastic enough to go along with the plan. Sort of like the enthusiasm displayed by the general public when they hear about trickle down economics and tax breaks create jobs scams. The theory is sound but the manner in which the idea is applied proves to only be a deceitful money grab by the elite class, and the plutocracy they control.


The problem is the two party systems professional politicians and a broken government that sells out to the highest bidder. Until the public turns it’s back on the two party scam we might as well start fighting an imaginary enemy.

 

No, what you just did is nothing close to what detectives do every day. Detectives first examine the evidence and then think of plausible hypotheses based on the evidence.

There were were over 15,000 murders in US in 2009 alone. Can you tell me how many of them were Muslims? Take all the victims of terrorists acts in US by Muslims since after 9/11 and tell me if the figure even approaches anything close to that. Since majority of the murders in US are by Christians, then can we agree that all Christians are murderers?

 

Most people who claim to be Christians are not Christians in any way shape form or fashion. Muslims seem to be struggling with that same reality. The only flaw in your logic.

 

And they know that many things in movies also occur in real life. Ever hear this > "Truth is stranger than fiction"

So they do what I did. Pose the question for starters. One of the first pieces of evidence is the MO.. And it is the same as what Islamic terrorists have been doing. Killing large numbers of people whom they don't know. Know anybody else who does that ? And maybe when they start really going through the evidence (which could take weeks), they'll find a Muslim terrorist connection. If anyone thinks that's not possible, and has a basis for that conclusion, let's hear it.

Just as many americans have been murdered by anti-abortionists, and animal right/eco-terrorists than as muslims, and both of them have used the same types of bombs and weapons that Holmes did.

I like to think that Holmes is just a sadistic peice of trash who decided to go to a movie and murder a bunch of innocent, random strangers. I do not think he was crazy, but that he just enjoys killing and is smart enough to know that if you act a certain way, and hire a great lawyer, you can get off by being called insane.
