It is a lot of fun and plays a bit like ultimate Frisbee. We play it for fun PT pretty regularly.

Alas, we men can only dream of being trapped between the thighs of Carmelita Jetta!

There's one event that bothers me..........ie synchronized swimming..........i mean apart from the Olympics i dont think ive ever seen or heard of this event.
Its obviously skillful, but basically its acting like dolphins by women with sparkly makeup and clothes pegs on their noses.
Come on give us a break, this isnt a true Olympic sport is it?.........in fact my old man used to call it synchronised drowning!

Lucky you. AF has a really gay and confusing version.

I missed that gem from Viv. Was that judgment towards athletic women? Tsk tsk tsk.

I'll take synchronized swimming as a sport over whatever the hell dressage is. Seriously, what the hell is dressage?

I understand it's extremely strenuous and demanding. And the eyeshadow is so pretty...

It looks like good fun. Almost as "non contact" as basketball.:xd: Why do the Koreans always look so angry, like they're screaming all the time..

Artificial "women" who are more muscular than most of the men. No doubt they have electric teeth as well. Scary stuff, but whatever happened to human beings?

You are such Philistines. Dressage is beautiful, a joy to watch.

Were there any US people in that event?

Romney's horse was there briefly. It couldn't hack it past the first round!

Well if we are talking women Olympic champions I think sexy, then I'd like to mention Serena Williams who won the tennis gold medal. :winner:

    SerenaWilliamsCurvesSandDunes.jpg

The image is Serena Williams in her "Sahara-desert-sand-dune-style dress" on the night of this year's Wimbledon Champions' Ball. I tweeted to her something along the lines of I'd like to beach on her shores, surf down her dunes and play in her sand box. :)

Serena admires Andy Murray apparently and this is the problem I would have with younger athletic women - they like young athletic men (which I'm not).

You are not sure about Tom Daley's sexuality, straight, gay or bisexual, or you are not sure about your own sexual interest in him, whether it is appropriate given that he is much younger than you or if he is really your type after all?

Let's not forget my crush on Condoleezza Rice and and so ideally I would like a doubles match for my Olympic 3-some challenge.

I don't think I would qualify unless it was some kind of pro-am contest.

My little step-brother used to play handball and he passed the passion into the family so I always keep an eye open for it now; also it is nice to see France doing well at it.

    I rest my case.

What sexual interest would that be, Peter? I don't have interest in any man, except the one I'm contracted to take an interest in. Don't judge others by your criteria.

    How old are you again....

It's easier and better to find a larger source image. When searching look out image size information in terms of width x height in pixels. It is possible to scale photographs on your own PC by downloading them then using an image editing program but if you start from a small image all you end up with is large out-of-focus image because the information is not there for a high resolution image.

Attaching an image to display inline or retrieving a remote file to reference locally, the thumbnails are all the same size but bigger source images display bigger when you click them. (there's a maximum size, not sure exactly what size that it is)

If you want an image displayed larger, then use the img tag and untick "retrieve remote file and reference locally"

USA 107, Spain 100. The 2nd "Dream Team" wins it, but it wasn't easy. What was with the early celebrating by the US? With nearly 40 seconds left in the game & a lead under ten, I thought it was way too premature to be high fiving. But it worked out.

I think that Manteo Mitchell should get an MVP award for finishing his leg of the 4x400 relay with a broken fibula - and in a very respectable 46.1 seconds.

Yes, he showed Olympic spirit. Not like that daft lassie who fell over in the running and lay about the place squealing.

I see that's where all the black cabs went. I stood for ages waiting for one last week...the Spice girls have them cornered.

Why do they have that git Liam Gallagher on... you hear better than that in the town on a Saturday night.

You won't get them from Americans until tomorrow.

Americans cannot be trusted to watch live events or they may learn things that NBC and their government don't want them to know. Plus of course, the editing, so that the programme can be reduced to 45 minutes to accommodate 3 hours of adverts.

In any event, when the comments do appear, they will be mostly derogatory other than the medal count boasting, most of which were won by black athletes who they loved for two weeks and can now go back to being despised.

NBC was streaming it live, though it's probably a bit late to say that now...

Which translates into "blah blah blah, I'm a sore looser, blah blah blah."
Par for the course when it comes to the majority of foreign nut gazers on this forum.

Anyway, congrats too the Russians for their epic comeback over Brazil in men's volleyball.
