After all, he was quite a pro-small-to-medium business guy... and also happen to be pro big business.

During his time, you don't have to feel like a fugitive for being rich.

Under his rule, outsourcing wasn't really criminalized.

He started 2 wars, but the unemployment rate at worst was only a whopping 6%.

KKK had to spend money on recruiting.

Gadhafi decided to be a hall monitor.

Pakistan still wanted to play ball.

US moved further toward energy independence.

    Business owners did built 'that'.

    1. Two wars are not trivial things.
    2. It was all bound to fall apart at some point because of Keynesian economics
    3. Pakistan was pretending to play ball
    4. We had the worst disaster on American soil ever

You never cease to amaze me. You know, ultra intelligent wording like "Keynesian economics" came out of the mouth of a lady is always secksy!

    Beats not pretending at all.

Oh c'mon, you can't really blame that on Bush. It was Billy Clinton.

Well Austrian Libertarians are the sexiest...

I dunno about that. I'd rather know where I stand with someone.

I blame US foreign policy since Kissinger for 9-11.

During his time fugitives were running Enron, Worldcom, Bear Stearns and AIG. Why didn't they actually behave as fugitives? Deregulation had pulled the cops off the beat.

Outsourcing eroded the job base for the Middle Class and further enriched the wealthy. Do you suppose that's the way to grow an economy? It is a spledid way to redistribute the wealth.

He started two wars, but coupling thast tradgedy to a low unemployment number is the height of cynicism, don't you think?

I don't know how to respond to the KKK comment other than to say put a Black American in the White House and the reactionary Right will respond in kind.

Would you rather have Qaddaffi alive and back in power? He was a brute (see Saddam Husein) and we fought a war and lost thousands of American lives and untold numbers of innocent Iraqi lives in the process.

Pakistan NEVER wanted to play ball. They are run by a military junta and playing ball with America is the last thing Pakistan would consider.

And finally, energy independence. If we were to 'drill baby, drill' exploit ever potential oil field in this country, we would be an oil producer, but still susceptible to the world price of oil. Making more oil doesn't mean cheaper oil. It all is sold on the world market and...MARKET FORCES dictate the price!

Your right I'm laughing my pants off. GWB's place in history is going to be on par with Herbert Hoover's. He for sure was the worst in my lifetime, meaning from Eisenhower on.

    I have figured it out.

The US Presidents will all be bad until 2020 at which time they will become good again. This will be when the 1970's and 80's kids become President. Until then we will need to wait for the doped out, drugged out 1960's Presidents to leave office and US Government.

If you haven't noticed... Bill Clinton, George W Bush, Barak Obama, have all admitted to drug abuse, and Mott Romney looks (to me) like he has snorted more cocaine than to kill an elephant.

It is very well possible that these peoples' drug abuse has direct correlation on their Presidential ability... and in fact, it DOES correlate. Bill J Clinton, wonderful president, didn't inhale. Well we know he did. George W Bush, alcoholic, horrible president. Barak H Obama, on the record as saying "I inhaled frequently, that was the point", possibly the worst president.

Like I said... The good US presidents will arise when the clean kids enter office. Until then, you can miss GW all you want, and maybe after a few beers he will miss you too.

"During his (GW Bush's) time fugitives were running Enron, Worldcom, Bear Stearns and AIG."

    Taxcutter says;
Wrong dude! They got nabbed on Bush's watch. The Impeached One's term was their heyday.

"Deregulation had pulled the cops off the beat."

    Taxcutter says:
Glass-Steagal was repeals on the Impeached One's watch.

"Outsourcing eroded the job base for the Middle Class..."

    Taxcutter says:
Over-regulation, excessive taxation, and runaway litigation eroded the job base for the middle class. All of those really got going in the mid-1960s.
    Get it right, dude.

In a way, Hussein Obama is GW bush's best friend. Obama's horrible term has made all bush's shortcomings look trivial.

Us now- us people a decade after 9/11- have the luxory of going back and rethinking history.

Now while I agree the Taliban in Afghanistan should have been wiped off the map and perhaps in the process, install a democracy, I never fell for the 9/11-to-Saddam connection.

If we wiped Afghanistan off the map then remade it a decade ago, today it would be a thriving democracy today... let's ignore Iraq completely since it had nothing to do with 9/11.

Our job was to get the guy in charge of 9/11 who is OBL and we failed miserably at doing that.

Bottom line- if we never invaded Iraq, we wouldn't be in the position we are today... by today it would all be done and history.

THIS is how I rate recent past Presidents.

Billy wasn't the one ignoring intel reports over and over, that was Georgey and it seemed almost like he wanted it to happen. Pakistan was not to be trusted all the way back to 2001....but Georgey trusted them anyway.

Do you have any evidence for your claim? From credited sources?
