What the (*)(*)(*)(*) is wrong with this party? People sometimes ask me, "Why could you vote for Obama, given his mediocre record?" Here's why: because people like this cannot be allowed to gain power in this country. Yeah, the Todd Akins and Richard Mourdocks are the minority in this party. I fear for this nation.

And do you have any idea how we take an average temperature for the planet, how inaccurate it is and how much bad data may be used without anyone the wiser?

I think even disregarding if climate change is real or not the fact that over two thirds of them believe in demonic possession is worrying in itself, well worrying if youre american hilarious for us

If they'd bothered to ask they would have also discovered that most Christians believe that Demon possession is an extremely rare phenomenon. Requiring a whole lot of empiric evidence to prove that Demon possession is the culprit rather than anyone of a number of other conditions. Strangely enough Scientologist seem to generally be on thepolitical left.

I am adding to this startling claim of a thread because ya know what? It's right.

It's been said that the Republican Party will have to withdraw and regroup after tommorow's election and I agree with that as well.

Yes. And you're wrong. I've pointed out that at least one of the "objections" you've repeatedly floated has long since been addressed. You're assuming that entire disciplines of scientists either are too stupid to see obvious flaws in models that it is their job to critique and perfect, or that said scientists are maliciously manipulating data. Can't really tell which is dumber; pick your poison.

You see, this is the kind of thing that pisses me off. You do realize that you're spitting in the face of decades of peer-reviewed scientific research, almost all of it leading to the same conclusion, right? And you do realize that these same scientists are in the single most scrutinized field currently out there, due to the extreme political interest in demonstrating flaws (even when there are none) in their research? You might as well ask, "Do you have any idea how we calculate the aerodynamics for aircraft, how inaccurate the methods are, and how much bad data may be used without anyone the wiser" in a discussion about whether or not we can create more aerodynamic airplanes. It makes you look like an idiot. It makes you out to be nothing more than a denier who has nothing beyond questions that have long since been answered and objections that have long since been refuted. Which, as it turns out, is most of you.

To regard a gas that comprises less than 1% of the atmosphere, of which Mankind produces less than 1%, as the great Climate Boogeyman....

    ........is 100% Faith based.

Believing that the supernatural exists means that you can basically believe anything as possible. You're basically criticizing these people for believing in God. And you have absolutely no proof that God doesn't exist.

On the other hand, I think it's valid to criticize people who refuse to accept a scientific consensus.

That's just how credible Global Warming is. It's right behind the tooth fairy on the credibility list.

The "peers" in "peer review" is always other Warmers, this discrediting the idea of "peer review."

Those who believe in nothing are apt to believe anything.

Science didn't disprove God. You made that up.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, but that's all that it is.

Not necessarily. It depends on how you define "Christianity". Besides, what does that have to do with whether God exists?

Someone believing in big-foot doesn't. Belief in god(s) has taken the lives of more people than any other belief. Be that Christianity, Islam or whatever fairy tale gone bad.
