One of President Obama's reasons to "tax the rich" more is to give money to the United Nations in the name of "global warming." Americans have already paid for President Obama's failed "green energy" investments.. (Solyndra and many other companies) He said those investments were the right thing to do, and he had every indication of continuing to invest in these ventures. Should Americans also be saddled taxes to fund green energy policies in other countries?
Who did you vote for for President last month? “I don’t speak for the scientific community, of course,’’ (Mitt) Romney said. “But I believe the world’s getting warmer. I can’t prove that, but I believe based on what I read that the world is getting warmer. And number two, I believe that humans contribute to that … so I think it’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may well be significant contributors to the climate change and the global warming that you’re seeing." http://articles.boston.com/2011-06-04/news/29685848_1_global-warming-climate-change-greenhouse-gases
Oh, I was just wondering if there were ANY "No such thang as Gore'bal Warming" Candidates running for President this year....and if they got your vote.....and how they fared?
Obama is not serving America. I keep telling you morons that, but you never listen..... America First MFERS !!!!
Gifting 20 brand spankin new F-16 to the new Taliban in Egypt, then handing over billions for Global Warming when the U.S. and Germany are the only 2 countries to reduce CO2 output? They should be giving US billions for that! I heard a sound bite of Obama saying in an interview with Babara Walters, "Taxes are going to go up one way or the other". I guess Buster the Thunder Bumpit can't coax from that gelatinous mass of freakish stupidity between his ears WHY we have to raise taxes. If they want to keep wasting our money like this then EVERYONE should be made to pay taxes...everyone. Then and only then would you see an end to this idiocy.
So you think hes lying about Obama sending US tax dollars over seas to fund BS global warming?? Wouldnt it be nice if we could actually trust a president to serve the needs of American?
I don't know where you got such a quote from Romney, but he had a plan to put into full use, our natural resources, and be independent of foreign oil by the year 2020.
Really? http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/recips.php?id=d000000129&party=R&chamber=S&type=P&cycle=2012 Fully owned? He's not even on the chart for their donations. LOLOLOLOLOLOLO!
As in the Good Cop, Bad Cop scenario, where both cops are bad for the suspect, we are given false illusions about who is on what side. It is the interest of the oil companies to make their obscene profits look like a guilt tax. Unrestricted exploration for and use of oil would not harm the environment; it would reduce gasoline prices to 12 cents a gallon. The oil companies would have to get rich on volume, not on price-gouging. That satisfied them for a hundred years, until a new generation of Greedhead zombies took over and learned the lucrative technique of controlling the agendas of both sides of the debate. Left and Right are only two wings of the same vulture.
Companies should make obscene profits. America should be filled with companies making obscene profits. Each citizen should have the opportunity to participate in those companies. There is no 12 cents a gallon oil program. But, there is a $2.50 a gallon program, maybe even less. The US may have more oil resources than all used since we started pumping in 1870. We just need to get out of the anti-oil mentality. http://theconservativeagenda.org/?page_id=1414
This "inflation-adjusted" deceit to make us think we aren't paying much more in "real dollars" than we did before the 1973 Embargo ignores the fact that the price of oil caused all that inflation. By the way, an embargo is an act of war. It's why Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor.
If we shake these climate change alarmists [this includes President Obama, big time], we would not have to worry about the price of oil. http://theconservativeagenda.org/?page_id=1414
It's easy to fool all the people all the time when you control both sides. Environmentalists subconsciously work for the oil companies. Most of them are children of the upper class and can't help but support their class, no matter how much they lie to themselves about what really motivates them. Nature is a pretty sight only to those sitting pretty. Artificially restricting the use of natural resources under the pretext of environmentalism is a left-handed way to achieve Right-Wing hoarding. That allows the oil companies to charge more and take obscene profit margins. American oil is only worth $5 a barrel and there is enough to keep us independent for one hundred years. Proof is that half the country has been closed off by pseudo-environmentalists and the other half kept us independent for the first hundred years.
Who benefits from the artificial scarcity and dependence on OPECkers? The American oil companies do, piggybacking off OPEC's l,000-3,000% profit margins. Left and Right are both wings of the same vulture. We better wake up soon to this Black Knight, White Knight phoney puppet show. The knights are brothers working a game on us. Cheering for one side or the "other" side is suicide. Only little men want to feel big by supporting the powerful. No one today deserves to be where he's at; all we get to listen to is composed of bluebloods and brown-noses, the scum of the earth. As in taking a bath, in this society the scum rises to the top.
Not going to watch 6 minutes of Jim Inhofe, perhaps the nuttiest representative, blathering about Obama and global warming, two topics he is notoriously dishonest about. Text link? Some citation that involves demonstration of the claim, maybe? Anything other than denialist #1 screeching about a political opponent? Yes. I think he's lying. And I'm not about to watch a 6-minute video of him talking.
