Those temps, for my city, are in celsius. You've seen temperatures upwards of 60 C ? EDIT: I guesss it comes up in Fahrenheit when used in the US. My bad
30 degrees and lovely and warm! I love the heat, makes me feel like I have nice warm clothes on all the time!
This is getting ridiculous!!! Celsius temps ... Wednesday Very hot. Sunny. Min 24 Max 40 Thursday Very hot. Mostly sunny. Min 26 Max 40 Friday Very hot. Partly cloudy. Min 25 Max 39 Saturday Very hot. Sunny. Min 26 Max 42 Sunday Very hot. Sunny. Min 24 Max 40 Monday Very hot. Sunny. Min 23 Max 39
So you have seen temperatures upwards of 60 C ? Where? As far as I'm aware, temperatures that high haven't been recorded. 58 C is the record (??)
Well after a long stint of extremely cold (most mornings were near 0*F and daily average was around 10*F), but now it's sitting around the 30s which is nice. Today was 40 and I didn't need a coat.
We are roughing through the winter here managing to leave our long sleeves and long pants packed away. However I did break out my long sleeve Under Armor shirt the other night when the temps dropped to 70F. Our norm this time of year is days 85F and nights 72F.
If it makes you feel any better the weather sucks here the other 9 months of the year...we had heat indexes over 100F from the 2nd of July through Nov. 20th with high humidity.
three days ago, 50 degrees (F), snow yesterday, 52 today...........typical Indiana weather damned dogs can't even decide (shedding)
Arizona...Usually it's a dry heat, right now it's been an on again off again wet cold of course it is also a dry cold when it doesn't rain and it's killing my poor lips. They're so chapped! =(
It's about to get nasty for a lot of folks, if the reports are correct. http://www.weather.com/news/weather-winter/winter-storm-q-california-plains-midwest-20130218 It's not supposed to be anywhere near as bad as what New England was hit with, but it may dump double digits in some areas, which is bad enough.
They are calling for anywhere from 6-14 inches here with 25-40 MPH winds. And I get to go out in a semi with a 53 foot dry van in it. Should be fun.
I'm in Southern Minnesota, and we're experiencing a blizzard right now. Heavy snow, subzero wind chills, and blowing / drifting snow. Miserable weather.
Storm Q turned out to be a bit of a paper dragon here locally. We probably received about 7" at best. But, that was enough to close most everything down, and nearly deplete stores of milk and bread. It was also enough to have a little 4x4 fun... which could've cost me a ticket. I came flying out of a gas station parking lot sideways (intentionally) not knowing that it was a cop I'd pulled out in front of. Then at the next stop sign, I sent a rooster tail of snow spraying everywhere as I practically rounded the corner with the rear tires first. That's when I noticed a cop was behind me... not sure why he didn't pull me over... maybe it was the end of his shift.
Yeah, pretty much a bust here as well. Got to go out and play with my little car some, but got the day off, and with the way we have been running lately, I can use it. But sounds like a possibility of more Sunday into Monday.
South of Seattle we had hard rain most of the day, then hail, and a short sun break. It's been in the upper 40's to mid 50's and down to the upper 30's to 40 overnight. The sky is trying to come through but it looks like rain for the next few days then a sun break. We didn't get much snow in Western Washington in Seattle or Tacoma but we have had many a rainy night. It's a good thing I am acclamated to this weather. The humidity is high and it can make your bones ache! I want my 70 degree days to come. 78 is perfect. Over 80 is too hot.
