    I only realize that repeating historical mistakes and claiming you are not really like that afterward, is not very inspiring of any confidence in your sincerity.

    It was not a firebase, so, in this case it is not an issue.

    No, Obama wasn't but Hillary allowed the State Dept. to remove the last of three 6-man State Dept. security teams and a 16-man military SST team from Libya less than a month before the attack despite all the warnings. She and Obama had a duty to protect our people in harm's way. Not only did they reduce security but they told those in a position to help to stand down. Negligence or incompetence of Biblical proportions.

    Why did the senior officer present not plan for a better evacuation contingency if he knew the "garrison" would be understrength? Were there Any orders to hold that position at any cost?

How the (*)(*)(*)(*) do you have any clue that the "senior officer present" did not do the best that he could under the circumstances ? From my vast military experience, and superior knowledge, I see your take on this as dumber than dumb. More liberal than liberal. And stupid beyond belief.

    Obama lied from the very beginning. He wanted to be re-elected more than he cared about the safety of an American diplomat a security team. Now that he is president for another 3.6 years you can all go pound sand because it just doesn't matter. Americans like "free stuff" and socialism more than anything else these days....

    It would have been part of a more efficacious evacuation plan on the part of the senior officer present. However, there was another facility not too far away and it was a diplomatic mission.

    If there were no orders to hold that position at any cost, why was there not a better plan for evacuating that position knowing the garrison was understrength and that the region was becoming more volatile?

    I only know by the results achieved and no orders to hold that position at Any cost.
