Essentially you are proclaiming, "Our moron-in-chief and our moron of a Secretary of State so screwed up that it required Russian intervention to prevent the pair of clueless idiots from starting an unnecessary war that they were both foaming at the mouth to start and that both had every intention of starting even if the legislative branch had voted 'no!'"

So . . . is THAT the Hope for Change you were voting for in Obama back in 2008 and 2012? Utter incompetence and a lust for war?

The correct spelling is "y-o-u-'-r-e," in case it comes up on a test.

    You're welcome.

Well, he's got good thinking behind his strategy, but with the lead weight that's his congressional record around his neck, I doubt he'll be able tread water for long. The weight's large enough for both the Tea Party crowd and Democrats in South Carolina to pull him down below the surface pretty quickly.

    billions?

    that's funny

it was an idea that kerry mentioned, that proved to me that diplomacy was not the initial course that obama pursued.

What putin did was make it public!

    what civil war?

Syrians fighting terrorists is not a civil war.

Palestinians fighting occupiers, is far more civil. Palestinians are doing it with far more democracy and the numbers to sustain it as a 'civil war'.

that is why i asked the question. The people that are the rebels, aint civil, nor syrians. Them morons that you called civil war citizens of syria, were in New york when they created the 'civil war'.

The people that used the chem weapons as far as i can see, were not syrians and why they could murder innocents.
    For what?

Many of the rebels are defectors from the Syrian Army.

Yes, thanks to Putin, King Obama was prevented from waging a war damn few people in the US wanted in the first place.

Has anyone considered that this was the plan all along? I mean Obama's a lot smarter than the conservatives would like to give him credit for, but he likes giving people the opportunity to make a claim and then use it against them. By "accidentally" revealing a possibly plan that would stop America from interceding into the war Obama gets to make the appearance that he's militarily proactive, makes people think he cares about the democratic process by listening to Congress, and makes people believe he actually cares about human rights. Everything is coming up Obama and all he has to do is have Kerry pretend to stumble into a solution they don't want.

Thanks Wolf for your take on the situation. I suspect it is correct as far as it goes.

But it does not explain the US alliance with Allah Akhbar murderous terrorists and unleashing them on Egypt, Libya & Africa as well as on pro-America Syria. I am also wondering if your hypothesis is able to deal with the 2 US missiles headed for Syria that the Russians shot down.

You got any evidence that King Obama "smarter" than your average American? What was his GPA in college, for example?

He's certainly smarter than the people stupid enough to vote for him, can't argue that. But that's like saying parakeet is smarter than a lake full of goldfish.

King Obama WANTED to go to war. He LIKES wasting US tax dollars, in any way possible.

If you think GPA is a good marker for intelligence I've got some beachfront property in Arizona to sell you.

Here we see why the conservatives couldn't win, they underestimate their opposition by a marvelous degree. Obama is simultaneously dumb and yet smart enough to destroy the US.

Obama made words about wanting to go to war, but they're words. Politicians lie for their own political benefit all the time and Obama didn't become POTUS by being ignorant of how to play The Game.
Why are you lying? Obama attempts to save money whenever he can, you can disagree with his methods but to say he intentionally wastes tax money is ridiculous.

How many is "many"? There are a 100,000 rebels. How many of them are former SAA soldiers? Lets see you back up your claim of "many"

You'd be surprised. There is an entire cohort of the US right (some call 'em neocons, I call 'em ****heads) that want total US hegemony in the Middle East. It goes back to the Progress for a New American Century (PNAC) report and before. Some want the Middle East for the oil, some want it to keep Israel safe from people who say unkind things about it. Those people are carefully examining any excuse at all to invade Syria, Iraq, Saudi . . .you name it.

Uh what? Pardon but I'm pretty sure the Egyptian military is in charge of Egypt, as they have been since the Free Officers overthrew King Farouk in 1952. Libya I'm not sure what you're talking about since as soon as Muslim fundamentalists stepped out of line the citizenry were literally overrunning militia bases they were so outraged at the attack on their ally. And the last I have no idea what you're talking about.
Additionally I'm looking up these missiles you're talking about, but all I'm seeing are crank sites like abovetopsecret.org claiming an American cruise missile was fired all the way from Spain into Syria and nothing credible because the only cruise missile we have that can be fired from that kind of distance are the ACMs the BUFFs used to have, but those were only armed with W80 warheads and they're not in service anymore.
