America didn't want Obamacare.

That's why Pelosi and Obama sneaked it through Congress using "legislative trickery." They knew it would be opposed.

GOP Sens. Cruz & Lee et al. found a once commonplace Constitutional mechanism to reverse the Legislative trickery (dirty trick) called "legislation by appropriation" to defund Obamacare but fund the Government.

When the President dug in his heels to get his way and use misinformation in the media to manipulate public support for his view of things and blame the GOP for the shutdown we find many of Alinsky's rules for radicals being employed to trick the American public.

You guys here at PF are either innocent patsies, dupes. Or, you are enabling the Liar in Chief as he runs roughshod over the Constitution and the American people to get what he wants, an America that is less strong, less prosperous, less free.

I wouldn't call that a case of Republicans losing their minds.

The only way to stop the madness is stop electing the corporate sock puppets that make up each party, eliminate fraud and waste (which includes most foreign aid), stop the illegal trespassers flood gates & gravy train, and cut antiquated/ineffective programs that never should have been put in place in the first place (which includes corporate welfare programs and the MIC), none of which either of the two parties who make up the best government corporate money can buy is interested in doing.

 

The Tea Party does not want to blowup the government.

Obama Care will be a slow motion train wreck starting in January. As people who HAD good company sponsored health plans, now have insurance with huge deductibles and yearly out of pocket expenses, who is it that pushed it to the limit to stop Obama Care? Who is it that fought tooth and nail to make sure the people would have to PAY huge deductibles and yearly out of pocket expenses? The Democrats are finished, they just don't know it yet.

On Tuesday, it looked like Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid might be put into a tight spot.
GOP leadership in the House planned to disrupt the Senate negotiations by pushing its own bill to lift the debt ceiling and reopen the government.
The bill could have put Democrats including Harry Reid in an awkward spot because the GOP bill was not going to be wildly unreasonable — and because acquiescing to it would have been acquiescing to "ransom" demands.
In the end, Reid was not forced into a difficult position. And he got some help from unlikely sources.


I'm guessing this was going to be the bailout solution all along.
