Weddings, funerals and special dinners out. But on a whole now its workboots, sneakers, flippy flops and bare footed for me. I did buy these cool Norwegian slippers. Flaming red with snow flakes on them.

This is the pull up knob on a shift in a truck?
They had them under the dash?

 

Years ago I wanted the guys to teach me how to drive the dual dump. I drove it with two pillows under my ass because I couldn't see over the hood. It was, I'm trying to remember, it was I think a 3 speed with a pull up knob on the shift. You put the clutch in and pulled the switch up and then tapped the gas and hit the knob down. I think thats how I did it. I helped them plowed snow in it for a season or two. It was nerve wracking fun. Nothing like plowing snow in a truck you can barely see the guides for the plow with strobe light on, in the dark and it snowing so hard you couldn't see 10' ahead.

The crazy good old days. I'm glad they taught me. It gives you a huge amount of respect for people who drive trucks. Now my licence is good for driving a fire truck. lmao. They changed the law years ago for the CBL I got.

There are so many at the top I cant decide. lmao

On of the craziest things Ive done, off the top of my head, was backflip jump off a lifeguard stand. Great "check this out everyone" idea that didn't work out all that well. Landed on my ass and tore my pants so bad the leg almost came off. We all walked into a bar after that and me with the torn pants and they wouldn't serve me and I wondered why.

Tell Gypzy out of the 7 pieces of cactus I tried to save one is growing new growth. One isnt moving but did not die as far as I can tell. The rest is gone. Tell her thanks. The damn thing was about 30 years old and 4' tall before the disaster and now we have a piece saved that is about 6" will arms and new growth.

Im greatful to her for helping us save it. Again, tell her thanks.

I swear I paid no attention to the cactus in the kitchen forever. I mean I watered it and sprayed it on occasion but it was just there. How many times I thought man I wish this wasnt here. lol The the things starts dying and its like oh no you dont. I got this cactus chick whos gonna save you. I did everything you said and had 7 saved pieces. One by one they all started turning that yellow mush stuff. In the garbage. Two were left. One half shriveled but no yellow and one with those leave things. Very cool! So no water all winter?
