Then came civil rights and the rise of the racist backlash, with most racists bolting the democrats for the repubs with the encouragement of Nixon and Reagan and their southern strategy. The right-wing movement infected the repub party, pushing them out of the mainstream of American political consensus. The culmination was the 2012 election. The parade of ignorant, extremist clowns that ran for the gop potus nomination was glaring proof of how low the repubs had sunk. Finally, even the cons are realizing that they have allowed a bunch of lunatic fringe extremists with an agenda to hurt America get too much control of their party. It's time to throw them under the bus and move ahead with a consensus from people of good will about how to deal with our challenges. Let the extremists continue to suck at the teat of demagogues like Palin or Cruz and let's relegate them to the comic fringe where they belong. 2014 is a great opportunity to cleanse the extremists from power and take our country back.

The truth is that now that Americans are waking up to the fraud and LIES of Obamacare, Republicans know that as we go into the 2014 elections, they've got this clown by the balls! They can afford to "play nice" now and go-along-to-get-along because a year from now they'll have this mad dog on a short leash where he can do no further damage to this country. They'll repeal Obamacare after that, and effectively neuter this socialist dictator we have nearly allowed to wreck 1/6ths of the national economy.
