No I want the fed gov gone. If there were no taxation for dead beets I would not have this issue. Also realize I am talking about potheads not weekend tokers. Takes a bit of pot to mess up a brain.

 

It did with the end to alcohol prohibition. There is no reason to assume otherwise for Cannabis.

 

I've always thought that avatar was silly to begin with … guess its because I have long row of rattlesnake tails pinned to my cork-board. If those stupid snakes would run-away like other snakes, then they would live. But no, they got to act all bad-ass, so they end up dead, and I have another tail to add to my collection. One time one of them caught me by surprise (actually caught my German shepherd by surprise) and I didn't have anything around to kill it with, except my dog, and I didn't want to take that chance. So, I had my son run back to the house, took him about 15 minutes to return, and that stupid snake sat there shaking his tail the whole time. When I raised the shovel up in the air it finally turned tail to run, but too late … we're eat'n rattle snake tonight.

 

Who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*)? Live, learn, and love. Enjoy your life. Love others. Accept the love FROM others. We don't have to be "productive" all of our lives, in fact it distracts us from our primary purpose. I couldn't care less if China becomes #1, though I don't expect it to happen.

Freedom is not free. I am saying that to do harm to another, economic or physical, is not liberty! If pot heads are denied any service due to shortcoming related to drug use or benefits because of drug use then it is all good.

There are plenty of nasty long term effects of alcohol as well, along with tobacco/nicotine.

Just because it's bad for your health doesn't mean it should be banned.

If that was the case, we'd have to ban most fast food and high fructose corn syrup.

 

What do gays cost me at this point? They hurt nothing, yet... When they get affirmative action and become a protected class I will have issues. I am predicting it and that is why I am against gay marriage. To fix this I say do away with federal recognition of marriage. All marriage.

 

Again, to be consistent, you'd have to do the same to alcoholics or people who eat lots of unhealthy snacks and decide to live sedentary lifestyles.

Generally speaking, the most effective systems at handling substance abuse decriminalize or legalize the substances, so that rehab becomes the focus rather than prison.

If you ban a substance in high demand, that just leads to organized crime. Currently, pot is the drug of choice for cartels.

 

Hey smokes and drinking are something else and yes they are a bigger problem. I am simply addressing pot here. I play level and I feel the medicare should not cover things related to anything you do to your body, by choice, that is known to be harmful. I am against medicine as well. Matter of fact this is how I feel...

Damn right. It's my body, and nobody has the moral authority to forbid me from using in whatever I wish. I don't have children to worry about. Even if I did, it wouldn't have made me an ineffective parent.
