What's going on in Poland? Seems they're finally waking up to their history and are furious with the Ukrainian Banderites who slaughtered them in WWII. Rugby fans are being very aggressive in their demands for a return of the city Lvov, which like Crimea and Novorussiya was given away by the Soviet Union.

Of course it doesn't help that the very people who slaughtered them are now considered heroes by the Kiev authorities. Well it's time the Poles realized that their lives are of no more worth than that of the Russians.

Ukraine’s rugby team received a frosty welcome in neighboring Poland where local fans put up a banner, t
hreatening to kill Ukrainian nationalists and demanding the city of Lvov to be returned to Poland.

“Take back Lvov. Kill Banderovites [followers of Ukrainian nationalist icon, Stepan Bandera],” the banner, written in both Polish and Ukrainian, read.

The vice mayor of the city of Lublin, which hosted the match, told the police to remove the banner.

However, the police refused to fulfil the official’s order due to the crowed in the stands being too aggressive.

The banner was eventually removed by five cheerleaders, with the girls saying that the fans swore at them, but didn’t attack.

The eastern Ukrainian city of Lvov was part of Poland until late 18th century and also after World War I.

It was transferred under the jurisdiction of the Soviet Republic of Ukraine only in 1946 after the end of World War II.

The Banderovites are the followers of Ukrainian nationalist icon, Stepan Bandera, who is now treated as “a freedom fighter” and a hero by the Kiev government.

Bandera’s Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) collaborated with the Nazi during WWII and is blamed by Warsaw for slaughtering around 130,000 Poles.

Last October, the Polish football fans displayed a similar banner demanding the return of Lvov and Vilnius, now Lithuania, during an away Europa League game between Metalist Kharkov and Legia Warsaw.

Anything that a paid Russian troll can even remotely use to promote Russia or denounce Russia's "enemies" will be immediately latched into and promoted as gospel. Look at the ridicules thread she and her fellow kremlinites post daily.

"Hawaii and Alaska separating from US"
"Fire at nuclear plant means degradation of America"
"General says Europe on road to war"
"Some collage kids use hologram of tanks on White House"
"Blah blah blah (insert something about nazis here) blah blah blah"

They literally just sit on their computers and google search random versions of the sentences "America is bad" "Ukraine is filled with Nazis" and "Russia is the greatest!", then they click on whatever blog spot or random news letter from whatever nonsense conspiracy theory website they see a good title of, and then copy and paste said crap here and act like its divine mandate. It's sad really.

Why do you think so? I mean like Mrs. Steinbach can do their thing with the association of expelled, so polish people can also have back their historical regions.

As quickly all footmen of Obama fell in love with Poland.
Stalin and Hitler divided Poland and the USSR suited Katyn and pro-Russian candidates in the first round of Polish presidential elections got less than 7%...
Obama probably is happy for his troll army :)
If to count, how many citizens of Poland were lost in the German concentration camps - there hundreds Katyn and all are silent.
Anyway It is a little history about good Poland.

Winston Churchill told about Poland “ is a greedy hyena of Europe”

The sovereign neigbour of the USSR (RSFSR at that time was called) Poland became as a result of World War I. To it Poles lived in the territory of three empires: German, Austro-Hungarian and Russian. The first two lost war, and with Russia business was even worse — because of the communistic government she became the world derelict. Therefore allocated Poles with the earth under the new state the union of the winner countries in World War I — the Entente — which on Russia didn't begin and to consult. Lines of Poland were drawn so that areas with prevalence of the Polish population joined in Poland, and where Poles minority — remained as a part of the countries, neighboring to it. The eastern frontier of Poland (so-called "Kerzon's line") passed approximately where it exists and nowadays.

Using post-war weakness of the neighbors who are torn apart besides civil wars and the conflicts, Poland snipped off at them territories behind the borders determined by the Entente. I snipped off practically at all, I forgot nobody.

For example, at bourgeois Lithuania snipped off Vilensky area together with the capital of Lithuania Vilnius.

Poland and piece of the territory, the otpisanny Entente of Czechoslovakia snipped off, snipped off the territories of Germany which weren't relying it.

Poland took Ukraine and Belarus almost half.

    All neighbors hated Poland.

But now all fell in love with Poland - Obama's order!:)

Oh yes. Mrs Ogorek got 2.2 per cent. She didn't convince much people. Her party had normally 5 to 10 per cent but now she got a fifth of the votes combined. In my opinion the best is Andrzej Duda, who got 35.5 per cent.

Right sector was recruited largely from 'drunk football hooligans'.

The Odessa Massacre involved 'drunk football hooligans'.

Their views may not mean anything to you, but they can hardly be ignored. If past is prologue, what is confined today to football fans will find a political expression.

I guess they figure that since Ukraine is in civil war and breaking up, now's the perfect time to carve out a piece for Poland.

Italian soccer fans called black soccer players the N word and told them to go back to Africa.

By your logic, that means we should take those black people back to Africa.....

Drunk losers shouting drunk things doesn't constitute national change.

Oh so you wouldn't care if those who killed your relatives were idolized as heroes? I didn't realize you were such a loving and forgiving person, and here I thought you were carrying loads of historical resentment. My apologies to you. :worship:

Polish drunk football fans once demanded that Belarus give up half of their country, as it used to belong to Poland.

    should Belarus comply?

I don't speak for Poland of course but it appears that between Nazi Germany and the Russian Empire the Poles choose neither.... but today, in the 21st century, there is no Nazi Germany, there is no old Poland which was as you correctly point out hated by all, they've matured, become civilized, peaceful and westernized... Russia unfortunately has remained as backward, bullying, aggressive and paranoid as it was throughout its history

I'm sure the very few ethnic minorities who live, work and are tourists in Poland, will be comforted by your words.

Well Poland has improved slightly, that's true, but from a very bad base. Eastern Europe in general is not a nice place to be an ethnic minority.
