During his speech he called the present Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff by their first names instead of calling them by the military rank and title, called next Chairman and Vice Chairman by first names too, and haven’t even looked at them. Once again Obama showed himself as unprofessional and disrespectful politician.
Of all the criminal and scandalous things this president has done this ranks very low in priority and barely registers on my shock-O-meter. The President committed treason, that is number one on my list of offenses Barack Hussein has committed. We have a apathetic and ignorant electorate who will put up with all kinds of corruption because they are more worried about the sports teams and how and where their girlfriends are going to get their next abortion.
What do you expect from a 'leader' who addresses the military as "CORPSEmen"? This so called 'Commander-in-Cheif'' either never understood or cared - I would say both - about the protocol expected of him..... he's a disgrace to the presidency.
Since the MDA is no longer going to have the Labor Day Telethon I think I will vie for that slot for one for ODS....a terrible disorder.
I don't think Obama intentionally did that. He's just ignorant of military customs and courtesies, as he's never served our great nation prior to becoming Commander in Chief. It's what you get when a rookie senator takes the big seat. Just gotta live with it.
And his is part where I come up with a video of Bush or Reagan calling an officer in the military by their first name and suddenly the Right has excuses for why that is okay and it's only wrong when Obama does it.
Being surrounded by fools like himself, it's no small wonder he knows nothing of proper decorum. When he called the 4-star general "Joe," I immediately said to my wife, "The jackwagon stepped in his own dirt again." He has no respect for himself, much less anyone else.
Soldiers lost respect for him the moment he changed the rules of engagement to put us in MORE danger.
Obama is the head of the military. He can also call them what he wants and salute when when and how he wants. Enjoy your latest fake scandal. Yes, so many fake scandals. It's a record.
Why I call it presidential derangement syndrome. And it's the same for all presidents regardless of part affiliation.
Ignorance is no excuse. A person in his position should be schooled better before leading a ceremony of that importance. He has no respect for the military, and he's not afraid to let them know.
Yep, and CITIZENS can all Barack by HIS first name, or "Boy" or "Moron" or "Idiot" because Barack is an EMPLOYEE of the people. Not a KING. Can you see what a Moron you sound like in that perspective? (Probably not)
When I was in the military, superiors (especially officers) called their subordinates by their first name all the time. Seriously, where is the outrage in this?
Then say what good things had he done for me to respect him. I want to remember officers titles and their last names when I watch news, there's no much need to know their first names only. Correct, and he's not afraid to lose his face at all.
Well, I don't know you so I don't know what you consider a good thing. But here is a site that tracks his campaign promises and how much of those he has kept for you to decide for yourself: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/
