You won nothing! Iraq is a disaster created by America and various gullible allies, and Afghanistan remains largely in the hands of your enemy, the Taliban.

 

If liberals and progressives really believed in the Constitutional rights of Americans to enjoy ALL civil liberties (not just the ones they support) then they would agree that every American can own a gun if they want.

I'll back up a bit here... not ALL liberals and progressives are like this, just a good many of you all.

 

IF they united? Some hope of that. Most of them are obese weekend warriors who can barely extricate themselves from their La-z-boy and waddle to the refrigerator for another hunk of pie, leave alone organise themselves into a cohesive unit!

Pretty funny that one, the search is entitled fat gun owners and it's from the UK. LOL. So your poster boy for the liberal party would be Michael Moore...There is a picture of health and well being. I can dig up just as many examples of fat liberals as you can of fat gun owners. And why do the liberals hate fat people and gun owners?

 

Remember when the Branch Davidians used all of their guns to defeat the tyrannical ATF?

Your first mistake is that left wingers always make. You assume that the military would of necessity side with the white house. It almost certainly would not given it's composition and that it's oath is to the constitution not the president.

 

If the military would refuse to side with government tyranny, why would civilians need to be armed to protect themselves from government tyranny? Wouldn't the military prevent it?

 

!st not all of them would. Second there are bucket loads of other quasi military types working for the government who would be a lot less picky. 3rd there would almost certainly be roving gangs of armed thugs operating in support of such a government.

 

So civilians need to be armed to protect themselves from the armed civilians that might help the government oppress them.

To say nothing of the FBI, US marshals, ATF and heaven only knows how man city police forces would side with the government.
