Except when it comes to recent history its pretty much a one way street.

I doubt there is a soul in America who walks around fearing Christian terrorists these days will bomb them indiscriminately just because they are not Chrisitians or disagree politically.

You overlooked Maj. Nidal Hasan (Ft. Hood)...12 murdered in the name of Islam, and Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez in Tenn. (Armed Forces Career center shootings), five murdered. Only a few examples.

That's what I want to say every time someone says you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than killed by a terrorist, I'd bet there are over 2700 New Yorkers that would rather have taken their chances with the lightning, along with those in Paris, et al. Here's the issue, you never know when lightning is going to strike, nor where, just like a terrorist. But when you see a storm coming, you don't knowlingly run into it with a metal object in your hand. If there are potential threats of terrorism, do you run right into it just because you have a greater risk of being struck by lightning?
