More Mexicans are leaving the US than entering the country according to a Pew study. Trump will have to find someone else to blame for all the crime he pinned on Mexicans. Since Obama was blamed for the immigration I guess now he should get credit for reversing the flow of immigration.

It is... just perhaps not with "Mexicans". Many of the illegals coming into America are not from Mexico, but from South American or Central American countries. While Mexicans may be leaving, Central America and South American's have been on the uptick for years.

So a recent change in the numbers, so slightly more Mexicans leave today than come in, would mean there should be no more illegal Mexicans? How does that math work? Economic situations change but if the numbers are so low it won't change decades of the opposite trend. You would of course have to look at statistics and see how many came in yearly and so forth. It is not surprising though that people who can move back start to do so when they can. Racism, economy and local situation plays a role.

I was just going to write the same thing. It's odd that, predominantly from the right, the polls that show something they agree with, they say it must be true. The polls they disagree with, they say that they were not asked or the poll numbers are too low ,so the poll is useless.
Since Obama became President, more and more people are fleeing. Who could blame them? Obama's President!
The economy is getting better in Mexico but their laws against illegal immigrants is much tougher than ours. So some are seeing more opportunity there and have gone home. Other people from farther south do not want to deal with Mexico's problems so continue on here.

It's probably why so many Mexicans are leaving and going back home where they belong, to many Central and South Americans are now flooding their neighborhoods. The returning Mexicans figured let Trump deport them all and then they will come back through that beautiful door at the Trump Wall.
